Wanna / AI tools for PR agencies

7 AI tools for PR agencies

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026. This page was written by Wanna AI; Wanna in this list is our product. Prices change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. The tools that cover a PR agency's core work, media lists, pitching and monitoring, mostly do not show a price: three of the seven here ask you to contact sales or sign up first. So the first question for any of them is what the quote covers. The seven are alphabetical, not scored.

How we chose

  • The vendor's own page describes work a PR team does: monitoring coverage, building media lists, pitching journalists, drafting releases and briefs, moving data between apps.
  • We read each pricing page on 17 Oct 2026 and print prices in US dollars as shown there. Where a page shows no price, we write "no price shown" and quote what it says instead.
  • We ran none of them, except that we know Wanna from the inside. We did not test the size or accuracy of any media database or the accuracy of any sentiment score.

By job

Coverage monitoring: Brand24 or Meltwater. Media lists and pitching: Muck Rack, Semrush AI PR Toolkit or Meltwater. Drafting: Claude. Gluing apps together: Zapier. Your own agency's next client: Wanna. The same exercise for agencies, consultants and AI cold email tools. Questions to ask any vendor: how to choose.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts; posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page at 16:11 UTC on 17 Oct 2026: 3 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR $0, 19 tasks done in 7 days. It does not run PR for your clients; it helps you find and approach new ones. You can start free on Wanna.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial or a demo: we read pages, not products. It does not replace your relationships with journalists, a client's sign-off on a statement or release, or your check that every fact and quote in an AI draft is true. It does not replace your read of the rules on disclosure and on emailing contacts in the countries you pitch. Ask any vendor where its contact data comes from and how often it is refreshed. FAQ

What are the AI tools worth trying for a PR agency? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the seven by task.

How much do AI tools cost for a PR agency? Brand24 and Zapier show prices, from 199 and 19.99 a month billed yearly. Meltwater and Muck Rack show no price and need a quote; the Semrush AI PR Toolkit page we read showed none. Claude and Wanna have a 0 tier.

Can AI build a media list? Muck Rack lists people and outlet search in every tier, and the Semrush AI PR Toolkit lists a media database with AI search. We did not test how current either list is or how many journalists it holds.

Can AI monitor coverage? Brand24, Meltwater, Muck Rack and the Semrush AI PR Toolkit all list monitoring. Brand24 is the only one of the four that shows prices and mention caps.

Can AI write a press release? Claude can draft one and the Semrush AI PR Toolkit says it drafts emails and press releases. A person still checks the facts and the client approves it.

Is Wanna a PR tool? No. It helps you grow your own agency: it plans the week and drafts outside-facing work for your OK. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
