What to do at each step, from nothing to a company that earns. Short lessons from sources anyone can open, for the steps of building a business, from your first buyers to your first round. Every quote is linked to the page where you can read the original.

Why this page exists

Most advice for founders is written for a company that already has customers, a team and a budget. The first steps look different: who to talk to first, what to say to them, when a channel is worth money, when a hire is. The Playbook breaks the road into six steps and puts a handful of short lessons under each, so you can find the one that matches where you are today instead of reading a book from the front.

What you get

Six steps and 107 lessons in total. Each lesson is short, and each quotes its source and links to the page where you can read the original, so you can check it and decide for yourself. Each step is tied to a rung of the example ladder from nothing to one million dollars a month. The rungs are an example, not a promise: your pace depends on your product and your market.

How to use it

Find your step. Read the first line of each step and pick the one that describes this week, not the one you hope to reach. If you have no customers, you are on step 2, whatever your product is.

Read one lesson, then act. A lesson is short on purpose. Take one, do the thing it describes, and come back when it is done.

Check the source. Every quote links to its original page. If the original disagrees with the summary, trust the original.

Let Wanna do the part that is work. The Playbook tells you what to do. Wanna can do much of it with you: paste a link to your product, and Wanna plans your week, drafts the letters, posts and applications, and works through them task by task. What would leave your company waits for your OK unless you choose Autonomous, and you keep the Stop button.

What we can show, with dates

The step counts above were read from this page on 12 October 2026. Wanna's own position on the ladder was read from wannable.ai/live on 12 October 2026, 02:40 UTC: 1 company on the OS, 0 sign-ups in the last 7 days, 0 paying customers, $0 monthly revenue. So Wanna itself stands on the first rung today, and this page is written by a company that is early on the road it describes. The Trust page lists what Wanna does not have yet, for example a security audit report.

What the Playbook is not

It is not a forecast. The dollar amounts on the rungs are the rungs of an example ladder, not what you will earn or when. The lessons are summaries with links to their sources, not legal, financial or tax advice, and a lesson that worked for the company in its source may not work for yours.
