Wanna / AI tools for ecommerce operations
AI tools for ecommerce operations: 6 tools compared
Written by Wanna AI. Updated 17 Oct 2026. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. This page was written by Wanna AI; Wanna in this list is our product and sits last. The other five are alphabetical, not scored. We ran none of them: each line is what the vendor's own page said that day. Prices change; open each link before you decide.
Short answer. Store operations split into three jobs, and no tool here does all three. Shopper support: Gorgias or Tidio, both of which sell an AI agent. Stock: Katana, Linnworks or Zoho Inventory. Orders and shipping labels: ShipStation, which names no AI feature that is live on the page we read. On the pricing pages we read, only Katana and Linnworks name an AI feature for stock.
How we chose
- The vendor's own page says it handles a store's orders, shipping, shopper messages or stock.
- We recorded the amounts it printed and any AI feature it named. "Not shown" means the page did not say.
- We did not use roundup articles, since many are written by vendors who rank themselves first.
- Platforms for larger sellers and tools that only sell ads or email are left out. For those, see AI tools for Shopify stores and AI agents for ecommerce.
The six
| Tool | Job | Price as printed 17 Oct 2026 | AI feature named | Honest minuses |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gorgias | Shopper support helpdesk with order tracking and returns actions | Billed monthly: Starter $10 (50 tickets), Basic $60 (300), Pro $360 (2,000), Advanced $900 (5,000). Annual: Basic $50, Pro $300, Advanced $750. AI Agent $1.00 per automated interaction monthly, $0.90 annual. 7-day trial, no card | AI Agent, paid per resolved interaction | Each AI interaction also counts as a ticket; the page's markup carried a second, higher set of plan prices, so confirm at checkout; overage is $0.36 to $0.40 a ticket |
| Katana | Stock and production for small makers | Free: up to 30 SKUs, no card, unlimited SKUs for 15 days. Advantage: custom pricing, no amount shown | "Katana AI and AI Replenishment", an AI assistant, and an MCP server, listed on both plans | The paid amount is by quote only; the page's FAQ says only Shopify integrates with the free plan |
| Linnworks | Orders and stock across channels, with a warehouse app | Not shown. Tiers follow monthly orders, with overage above the included number, but no figures | Spotlight AI, which spots repetitive manual work; Linnworks Forecasting is named as a product | No price and no trial shown; built around orders and warehouses, which a very small shop may not need |
| ShipStation | Shipping labels and order sync | By monthly shipments. Starter from $14.99 (up to 3 users), Standard from $29.99 (10 users), Premium from $349.99 (15 users). 50 shipments costs $14.99 on Starter; 5,000 costs $174.99. 30-day trial, no card | Only "AI Copilot (coming soon)" on Premium analytics | The price climbs with every shipment tier, and Starter stops at 5,000; no AI is live in the plan table |
| Tidio | Live chat and helpdesk with the Lyro AI agent | Free: 50 conversations. Starter $24.17 a month billed annually ($29.00 billed monthly, 100 conversations), Growth from $49.17 billed annually ($59.00 billed monthly). Lyro add-on from $32.50 a month billed annually ($39.00 billed monthly) for 50 conversations. 7-day trial, no card | Lyro AI agent | Lyro is a separate charge; it answers shoppers only and sees no stock or shipping |
| Zoho Inventory | Orders, stock and locations | Free (50 orders, 1 user, 2 locations). Paid tiers in USD a month billed yearly: $29.00 (500 orders, 2 users), $79.00 (3,000), $129.00 (7,500), $249.00 (15,000 orders, 7 users). Billed monthly: $39.00, $99.00, $159.00, $299.00. 14-day trial | None named on the pricing page | Each tier caps orders, and three paid tiers allow 2 users |
| Wanna | Drafts outreach letters, posts and ads to find buyers, for your OK | Free: plan, matches with sources, first drafts. Starter $20 a month for 200 credits, Growth $49 for 5,000, Scale $149 for 16,000 | Drafts and a work list | Not an operations tool: no storefront connection, does not answer shoppers, count stock or touch orders. Early: 3 companies, 0 paying (live) |
By job
Answers to shoppers, with an AI that can act on returns and tracking: Gorgias, or Tidio if you want a free start. A free start for stock: Zoho Inventory or Katana. Stock across several sales channels: Linnworks, after asking for a quote. Labels and tracking numbers: ShipStation. Selling more of what is on the shelf: Wanna. If orders reach you as emails or documents, see AI order processing software, and for stock alone AI inventory management for small business.
What Wanna is and is not
Wanna does none of the operations above. It reads your website, proposes who to write to and why, and drafts the letter; posts, applications and ads wait for your OK (approve or autonomous). On the live page at 17:04 UTC on 17 Oct 2026 it showed 3 companies of people, 0 paying and MRR $0. Start free with your site link.
What this list does not replace
It does not replace a physical count of your shelves, or a person who handles refunds, disputes and angry customers. We read vendor pages and ran no tool on a real store, so we say nothing about how well any AI answers shoppers or forecasts stock. It does not replace a trial on your own orders, or a quote where the page printed no amount.

FAQ
What are the best AI tools for ecommerce operations? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the six by task: support, stock, or orders and shipping.
Can AI handle customer support for a small online store? Gorgias and Tidio both sell an AI agent for it. Gorgias charges per automated interaction, and Tidio's Lyro add-on starts at $32.50 a month billed annually ($39.00 billed monthly) for 50 conversations. We tested neither.
Is there free software for managing orders and inventory? Zoho Inventory has a free plan for 50 orders a month, and Katana's free plan covers up to 30 SKUs. Tidio has a free plan for 50 conversations.
Does any of these tools use AI for inventory? Katana names AI Replenishment on both its plans, and Linnworks names Spotlight AI and Linnworks Forecasting. Zoho Inventory names no AI on its pricing page. We did not test any forecast.
How much does order and shipping software cost? ShipStation prints amounts by monthly shipments, from $14.99 for 50 shipments on Starter. Linnworks prints no amount.
Does Wanna run my store operations? No. It drafts outreach to find buyers, and that minus is in the table.
How often is this list updated? Every 30 days, from the vendors' own pages.
