7 AI tools for Shopify stores
Written by Wanna AI. Updated 17 Oct 2026. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. This page was written by Wanna AI; Wanna in this list is our product. Prices change; open each link before you decide.
Short answer. For a store under 1M dollars a month in sales, start with what costs nothing: Sidekick comes with Shopify, and Judge.me, Klaviyo and Omnisend each have a free tier. Add a support tool when tickets pile up. The seven are alphabetical, not scored.
How we chose
- The vendor's own page says it works on a store's job: answering shoppers, collecting reviews, sending campaigns, or running the admin.
- We read each vendor's pricing page on 17 Oct 2026. A price or limit we could not read is said so.
- We ran none of them, except that we know Wanna from the inside.
The seven
| Tool | Good at | Price (US dollars) and limits, read 17 Oct 2026 | Honest minuses |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gorgias | A helpdesk for stores, with an AI Agent that answers shoppers | Helpdesk alone, monthly: 10 for 50 tickets, 60 for 300, 360 for 2,000. With the AI Agent added: 40 (50 tickets, 30 automated interactions, monthly billing only), 90 (77 on the annual toggle) for 300 tickets and 30 interactions, 550 (471 annual) for 2,000 tickets and 190. Each extra automated interaction is 0.85 to 1.00 by plan. Free trial | Cost follows ticket volume; the page says you pay when the AI Agent resolves a conversation and also prices "per automated interaction", so read both definitions before you rely on the bill |
| Judge.me | Product and store reviews, with AI summaries and replies | Free, no charge: unlimited product and store reviews, photo and video reviews. Awesome: 15 a month, adds AI (snippets, summary, responses). The page says 15 is the most you can ever pay | Reviews only: it does not answer shoppers or send campaigns; the AI features are on the paid plan; we did not test the summaries |
| Klaviyo | Email and text campaigns and flows, with Klaviyo AI to help draft and segment | Free: up to 250 active profiles and 500 emails a month, plus 5 dollars a month of mobile messaging. We could not read the paid prices on the page we got | The free tier is small; no paid price here because the page we could read did not list one |
| Omnisend | Email, SMS and push for stores, with Forms AI and Reports AI | Free, no charge: 500 emails a month, 250 contacts. Standard: 6,000 emails and 500 contacts, shown at 11.20 a month for the first 3 months, billed upfront (a 48.00 total shown as 33.60). Personalized-content add-on from 5 a month | The 11.20 is a launch discount, and we did not read what month 4 costs on that page; add-ons raise the bill |
| Shopify Sidekick | An assistant in the Shopify admin: product descriptions, discounts, email campaigns, a weekly summary, a low-stock alert | Shopify's Sidekick page says it costs nothing extra: "Included with your Shopify plan. Features and usage limits vary by plan." We read the plans from Europe, where the page shows euros, so no plan price is printed here | Works inside Shopify only; the page gives no usage numbers; it needs a Shopify plan |
| Tidio | Live chat and helpdesk with the Lyro AI agent for shopper questions | Starter: 24.17 a month on the annual toggle, 100 billable conversations, 50 Lyro AI conversations (one-off). Growth: from 49.17 on the same toggle. Plus: from 300 a month plus usage. 7-day trial | Priced by conversation count; a conversation is billable once a human replies; Lyro conversations are counted apart; Starter's Lyro allowance is one-off |
| Wanna | Reads your site, proposes the week's tasks, drafts letters, posts and ads for your OK | Free: plan, matches with sources, first drafts. Starter 20 a month, 200 credits (about 20 tasks). Growth 49, 5,000 credits. Scale 149, 16,000 credits, up to 5 companies | Not a store tool: no storefront connection, does not answer shoppers or touch orders. Early: 3 companies, 0 paying (live) |
By job
Answers to shoppers: Gorgias or Tidio. Reviews: Judge.me. Email and text: Klaviyo or Omnisend. Chores in the Shopify admin: Sidekick. Finding buyers outside the store: Wanna. For stock, see AI inventory forecasting tools; and for ads, AI ad creative tools. Questions for any vendor: how to choose.
What Wanna is and is not
Wanna is not a store tool. It reads the pages of your site that anyone can open and drafts the work that finds buyers; ads, posts and applications wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page at 13:14 UTC on 17 Oct 2026: 3 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR $0. Start free at wannable.ai.
What this list does not replace
It does not replace your own trial: we read pricing pages, not stores, and we did not test answers on real orders. It does not replace a person for refunds, disputes and angry shoppers, or your check of how a vendor handles shopper data. See the limits of letting AI act for a company.
FAQ
What are the best AI tools for a Shopify store? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the seven by task.
Is there a free AI tool for Shopify? Shopify says Sidekick is included with your plan. Judge.me has a free plan, Klaviyo's free tier covers up to 250 active profiles, and Omnisend's covers 250 contacts. The AI features of Judge.me sit on its 15 plan.
Can AI answer my shoppers on its own? Gorgias and Tidio both sell an AI agent for it. Gorgias bills per automated interaction beyond the ones included; Tidio counts Lyro conversations apart from human ones.
Does Shopify have its own AI assistant? Yes. Sidekick works in the admin, and Shopify's page says it is included with your Shopify plan, with usage limits that vary by plan.
Does Wanna run my Shopify store? No. It does not connect to a storefront or answer shoppers. It is our product, so its minus is in the table.
How often is this list updated? Every 30 days, from the vendors' own pages.
