Ship a startup and test demand in a month

Levels set himself a rule of launching a new project every month and judging it quickly by whether anyone wanted it. His reasoning was that building in private for a year teaches nothing, while exposure to the market does. A short deadline turns an idea into a test with a clear pass or fail.

“My plan is to see if I can get market fit in one month”— Pieter Levels, I'm Launching 12 Startups in 12 Months, Mar 2014
