Wanna / Views, but no bookings

People see my business but nobody books and the phone is not ringing. What should I check?

Short answer. When people can see you but nobody books, look between the click and the call. Check that your number rings and a person answers, that your page says what to do next, that you know where each request came from, and that someone replies. Wanna points out gaps. It does not answer your phone.

Free ways to get calls first, by hand

Before you pay for leads, try these. They cost time, not money, and you do each one yourself.

  • Fill in your Google Business Profile. Check the name, phone number, hours, service area and categories, and add real photos of your team, your vehicle and your work.
  • Send a review link right after each job. Text the customer a direct link to your review page while they are pleased, and reply to the reviews you get.
  • Give each town you serve its own page. One page per town, saying which jobs you do there and how to call you.
  • Ask for referrals. Tell your best customers you are taking new jobs and ask who they know. Ask at the moment they are happy with the work.
  • Call back fast. Return a missed call or answer a message the same day you can, and sooner when someone is waiting on a quote.

Wanna can draft the wording of the review request for your OK, and you send it. It does not fill in or change your Google profile, add photos, write your town pages, reply to reviews, answer your phone or bring you calls. We counted these five from what free answer engines said when asked this question on 23 Oct 2026; we have not measured that they work for any business.

What owners say, and how thin it is

This page uses four quotes from three people: two cleaning company owners and one HVAC owner, roles unchecked. Two salon owners wrote something close about a booking app; we did not use them. We do not know how many feel this way.

A cleaning company owner with three years in business wrote on 22 Aug 2026 that they had registered on a lead site a month before: "I've only received 4 leads." They added: "I get plenty of views, but for some reason, people aren't booking." They asked what they were doing wrong.

A second cleaning company owner, on 21 Sep 2026, asks something related but different: "how can a cleaning service company get more referrals on this platform?" That owner asks for more requests, not why none turned into bookings.

The third voice is second-hand. An article dated 5 May 2026 quotes a post by a Florida HVAC owner: "I've put a decent amount of work into SEO." The article lists what the owner had done, then adds the owner's words: "the phone's just not ringing." We could not open the original post.

Check 1: does the number ring, and does a person answer?

Call the number on your listing and on your site from another phone. Write down what happens: a person, voicemail or nothing.

Check 2: does the page say what to do next?

Open your site on a phone, as a stranger would. Is there a number you can tap or a button to book? Does the page for the job you want most say which towns you serve?

Check 3: do you know where each request came from?

Ask every new customer how they found you, and write the answer next to the booking. Without that, you cannot tell what to fix or stop paying for.

Check 4: who replies, and when?

Write down who calls back a missed call or answers a message, and when. For one week, log your own missed calls and whether each got a reply.

A cleaning company, an HVAC company, a salon

The four checks are the same. Our reading, not a measurement: a cleaner on a job cannot pick up, so start with check 4. An HVAC company with the site work done starts with checks 1 and 3. A salon that books through a link starts with check 2.

Where Wanna fits

You paste your website link, or choose "No website? Tell us what you do" on the start page. It says free, no card, and nothing is posted without you.

Wanna reads your site and can show where a visitor gets stuck. On the two sites we have written up, it found gaps of that kind. On a salon and day spa site, 3 of the 20 links it opened led nowhere (AI agents for salons). On a garage door company's site, 1 of the 30 links it opened led nowhere, and a search for the exact business name returned nothing (AI agents for home service businesses). Those are two sites, and neither run measured calls or bookings. We have not run Wanna on a cleaning or HVAC site. Wanna is early and promises no calls.

What Wanna does not replace

  • It does not answer your phone, take bookings or dispatch anyone. A call still needs a person.
  • It does not track your calls. You still need a way to see which source rang the phone.
  • It does not fix a number that rings out. Check 1 is yours.
  • It does not replace a marketer who works on your listing and pages, or an honest report from the one you already pay.

FAQ

Why do I get plenty of views but nobody books? The quotes give no cause. Run the four checks above, and start by calling your own number.

Why is my phone not ringing even though my SEO is done? Ranking is the first step. A number that rings out, a page without a clear next step or an unreturned call can each leave the phone quiet. We do not know the cause for the HVAC owner quoted here.

How do I find out which marketing actually brings calls? Ask each new customer how they found you and write it next to the booking. Then count by source.

Can AI get my phone ringing? Wanna can read your site and point to gaps, and draft posts and offers for your OK. It does not answer calls or promise results.

Is Wanna free for a small local business? The start page says it is free with no card, and nothing is posted without you.
