AI agents for salons: what an AI team did with one real salon's site

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 20 Oct 2026. On 19 Oct 2026 we pasted the site of a real salon and day spa in Northwest Houston into Wanna as a test. The salon is not a Wanna customer, so we name it by kind and city only. Everything below is what the run wrote.

Short answer. For a salon, an AI team earns its keep on filling quiet days: turning an offer the salon already has into a page clients can book from, writing to past clients about it, and keeping the listings and reviews that bring new people. In this run it found a 20% facials offer at a new location on the site and built the first two days around it.

What Wanna read on the site

24 facts, each with the page it came from, 10 of them in the first 10 seconds: hair, skin, nail and massage care, the resort-style setting, the new location, the 20% off facials, the Instagram account. The goal picked in onboarding was "Fill quiet weekdays", in a warm voice.

The two client groups

GroupWhat they want, and where that came from
Brides-to-beHair and makeup handled together for the wedding look (site). Facials that fix dull skin before the big day (site). A calm setting while getting ready (site).
Busy momsHair, nails and a massage in one trip (site). Clear savings, like 20% off facials at the new location (site). Booking in one message, with no phone call (what such clients usually ask).

What it measured on the first page

3 of the 20 links it opened lead nowhere. The page is 1,120 KB of HTML before images and scripts, slow on a phone. And the offer is not where a stranger looks first, so the fix was a banner by the headline: 20% off facials, the date it ends, the new location, and a "Book a facial" button with the street address.

To get named when people ask an AI assistant for the best salon and day spa nearby, it proposed matching profiles on the listing sites, one page per service and per location, a note on the new location's opening, and reviews that name the service and the area.

The first two days

DayPlannedWhat happened
19 OctWrite the page for 20% off facials at the new location; draft a message to past clients about itThe page was done; the message did not start (the free credits were used)
20 OctWrite one text and one email to past clients about the offer, with the page linkPlanned. The task tells the writer to mark the booking link and the offer's end date as missing facts for the founder, not to guess them

Free gives 10 credits after setup, enough for one task. On Starter ($20 a month, about 20 tasks) both tasks of day 1 would have run the same day. See Pricing.

What stays with the salon

The page, the text and the email wait for the owner's OK before anything is published or sent. Wanna does not take bookings or payments; clients book and pay the salon directly.

FAQ

What can AI agents do for a salon? Turn the offers you already have into pages clients can book from, write to past clients, draft posts, and keep listings and review requests going. You approve what goes out.

Can AI fill quiet days at my salon? It can do the work that fills them: an offer page, a message to past clients and posts that point to it. In this run that was the whole first plan.

Does an AI agent book clients for me? Not Wanna. It writes the messages and pages; booking stays in your own booking system.

What does it need from me? Your OK on what goes out, and facts it cannot find on the site, such as the booking link and the date an offer ends.
