Wanna / No time for marketing

How do I get customers when I have no time for marketing?

Short answer. Skip most of marketing and keep the few things that bring people to your door: ask each new customer how they found you, ask for a review after every job, and answer every inquiry the same day. Wanna can draft posts and offers from your site for your OK. It does not ask, answer or post for you.

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 22 Oct 2026. Wanna is our product, so read its place below with that in mind.

What owners say, and how thin it is

We have four quotes from three sources: a coffee shop and roastery owner (two quotes), a podcast host retelling stylists, and a cleaning company owner. We do not know how many owners feel this way.

A coffee shop and roastery owner, in a trade article dated 5 Jun 2026, said of Instagram: "It's time-consuming," and "The reward isn't always there." Elsewhere in the article: "Social media is something you can spend on when you're already making money."

A podcast host, in an episode recorded in spring 2026, says stylists and salon owners tell them: "I just don't have time for social media. I don't have time for marketing." That is the host's retelling, not a stylist's post.

A cleaning company owner wrote in a newsletter on 14 Sep 2023: "95% of our business development came from cold calling and drop-ins." That is older and says nothing about time; we read it as marketing done by hand by the owner.

What to cut first

Try this order, and stop when you have a week you can keep up.

  1. Find out where your last customers came from. Ask the next ten new customers how they found you and write it next to the job. Drop the channels that show nothing.
  2. Make one request after every job. One short message: thanks, a link to your review page, and a question about who else needs the same job.
  3. Answer inquiries the same day. Someone who already asked is the nearest customer you have.
  4. Post only what is true and current. One real photo of a recent job, or one offer for a slow day, is enough.

We did not time these. Each is one message or one question.

Where Wanna fits

You paste your website link on the start page, which says it is free, no card, and nothing is posted without you. Wanna reads the site, writes down what it found with the page each fact came from, and drafts tasks for you to approve.

Two of our test runs, neither on a paying customer: on a salon and day spa site it read 24 facts and wrote the page for the salon's own 20% facials offer; the message to past clients did not start because the free credits were used (AI agents for salons). On a roaster and cafe site it read 23 facts and proposed three first-screen fixes (AI for coffee shops). In one live company's first week, most finished items stayed inside the company (first week of an AI team).

We have not measured how many hours this saves an owner, and we have not run it on a cleaning company. Wanna is early and promises no customers.

What Wanna does not replace

  • It does not ask your customers for reviews or referrals. That message is yours.
  • It does not answer your phone, your messages or your inquiries.
  • It does not post to Instagram today. You post the approved draft yourself.
  • It does not replace a marketer who works on your listing and your pages.

FAQ

How do I get customers when I have no time for marketing? Keep to the few things that bring customers: ask how each one found you, ask for a review after every job, and answer every inquiry the same day. Let a tool draft posts and offers for your OK.

Is marketing a second job for small business owners? The owners we read describe it that way, but four quotes are not a survey, and we cannot say how many owners feel this.

How much time should a small business owner spend on marketing? We have no measured figure and will not make one up. Start with the three requests above and see what comes back.

Can AI do my marketing for me? It can draft posts and offers from your site for your approval. Wanna does not ask for reviews, answer inquiries or post to Instagram for you, and we do not promise a number of customers.

Is Wanna free to try? The start page says it is free with no card, and nothing is posted without you.
