Wanna vs Motion for a small B2B company
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product, so read its column with that in mind.
Short answer. Motion is a work app: projects, tasks, calendar, meetings, docs and notes with AI that plans your day and schedules your tasks. Wanna is built for one job, the growth work of a small company: it reads your site, proposes the week's tasks and prepares letters, posts and applications for your OK. If your problem is organizing the work you already have, Motion fits. If your problem is deciding which growth task comes next, look at Wanna. They do different jobs and you can use both.
How we compared
Five rows, the same for both. Everything about Motion was read on 17 Oct 2026 from its home page and its pricing page, reached from the Pricing link in the menu of the home page; everything about Wanna from its own pages the same day. We ran no test of either product, so this page says nothing about how well each works. Motion's pricing page has an Individuals tab, a Teams tab and a monthly or annual billing switch that loads on annual; we print the Teams figures for both billing choices and name the Individuals figures.
Side by side
| Motion | Wanna | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Its home page lists AI projects, tasks, calendar, meetings, docs, notes, reports and workflows. The pricing page names an AI chat, a task planner, a calendar and meetings assistant, and a writer and editor. | Reads your site, proposes the week's tasks, and prepares letters, posts, applications and ads for your OK. How it works |
| Who it is for | Pro AI is described as for professionals and small teams, Business AI for power users and businesses with complex needs. | A founder of a small B2B company who wants the next growth task proposed and drafted. |
| Price, read 17 Oct 2026 | Per seat, Teams tab. Billed annually: Pro AI $19, Business AI $29. Billed monthly: Pro AI $29, Business AI $49. Pro AI comes with 7,500 credits a seat and Business AI with 15,000. The Individuals tab shows Pro AI at $29 billed annually and $49 billed monthly, and Business AI at $39 and $69. The page loads with the annual switch on. It says "Start your free trial" and does not state the trial length. Motion site, Pricing in the menu | Free: the plan, the matches with sources and the first drafts. Starter $20 (monthly) for 1 company and 200 credits (about 20 tasks). Growth $49 for 5,000 credits. Scale $149 for up to 5 companies. |
| What it needs from you | You enter or import your projects and tasks and connect your calendar; it then plans and schedules them. | You paste your site link and confirm facts. After that it proposes tasks and waits for your OK. |
| Honest minuses | Billed per seat. The price depends on the billing switch and tab: the same Pro AI seat is $19 on annual billing and $29 on monthly billing, a $10 gap. The trial length is not stated. We did not find on its pricing page a feature that reads your site and proposes growth work such as outreach letters, posts or grant applications; we did not test it. | Early: on 17 Oct 2026, 13:12 UTC, the live page counted 3 companies of people, 18 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside in 7 days and 0 paying companies. It has no task manager, calendar or docs, and there is no security audit report such as SOC 2 yet. |
Where Motion is better
Motion handles the daily mechanics of work that Wanna does not touch: your task list, your calendar, your project timeline. Its Business AI plan lists team capacity planning, dashboards and reports, Gantt charts and time tracking. If several people share work and you need it scheduled, Motion is closer to that problem, and it has apps for iOS, Android and desktop.
Where Wanna differs
Wanna starts from your site, not from tasks you already wrote. It proposes the growth work, and its posts, applications and ads always wait for your OK. Sending letters is off for every new company until you turn it on (Trust). A paid plan has a fixed monthly credit pool and a stated pace, about one task a day on Starter, and the plan is billed per company, not per seat. You can start free and see the plan before you pay.
What neither replaces
Neither replaces a person who owns the decisions. Motion does not decide what your business should sell, and Wanna does not replace your accountant, your lawyer or a project manager who keeps a team on schedule. Prices change; check Motion's page before you decide. Related reading: Wanna vs Lindy, Wanna vs Relevance AI and AI CEO vs a virtual assistant.
