7 AI tools for wedding photographers

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 29 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are US dollars and change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. A wedding studio of one or two people has three piles of work. After the day: thousands of frames to cull and edit, then a gallery to deliver. Before the day: the inquiry, the proposal, the contract, the questionnaire and the invoices. Between seasons: finding the next couples. Aftershoot and Imagen work on the frames. Pixieset delivers them. 17hats, Dubsado and HoneyBook run the paperwork from inquiry to final payment. Wanna works on the third pile only. The seven are alphabetical, not scored.

How we chose

Each vendor's own pages describe work a wedding studio does, or a business of one or two people could use. Prices were read on each vendor's own pages on 29 Oct 2026 between 20:55 and 21:10 UTC, with the billing term the page gives. Imagen's culling prices were read again on its own pricing and culling pages on 31 Oct 2026 at 11:50 UTC. We read pages and ran none of these tools except Wanna.

By job

Culling and editing after the day: Aftershoot, or Imagen, which prices per photo or flat. Delivering a gallery and selling prints: Pixieset. Inquiry to signed contract to final payment: 17hats, Dubsado or HoneyBook, which overlap heavily; compare the lead forms, workflows and trial length on a real inquiry. Two people sharing one account: HoneyBook Essentials lists up to 2 team members, Dubsado lists 3 extra users free, and 17hats sells additional users. Finding the next couples between seasons: Wanna reads your website, so it needs no booking software, and it drafts a post or a note to a venue. Sending is off for every new company. Related: photographers, content creators and local service businesses.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts. Posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page at 21:06 UTC on 29 Oct 2026: 5 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 27 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside. We have no wedding results to show. Wanna does not cull or edit a frame, host a gallery, write a contract, send an invoice or take a payment.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. No tool replaces your eye on which frames make the album, your signed contract and its cancellation terms, your model and venue releases, your backup of every card until the gallery is delivered, or your business insurance. AI edits and culls still need your review before a couple sees them, and a drafted reply needs your read for the date, venue and name. Check that a payment tool pays out to your own account before the first deposit. See the limits of a self-running company.

FAQ

What are the best AI tools for wedding photographers? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the seven by task, and the table gives each price as the vendor shows it.

What is the best software for a solo wedding photographer? There is no single answer, because culling, editing, galleries and client paperwork are separate jobs. Aftershoot and Imagen work on the frames, Pixieset on delivery, and 17hats, Dubsado and HoneyBook on the booking flow. We ran none of them, so try one on a real inquiry and one on a real wedding.

Can AI cull and edit a wedding? Aftershoot and Imagen both list AI culling and editing. Imagen's pricing page counts a solo wedding photographer who sometimes brings a second shooter as an individual. We did not test the results, so run both on one shoot you have already delivered and compare.

How much does wedding photography software cost? Entry prices shown: Pixieset free, then 8 a month billed annually, HoneyBook 29 a month billed yearly, Dubsado 335 a year, Aftershoot culling 10 a month billed annually, 17hats 60 a month, Imagen 1,000 free edits, then from 0.05 a photo. Wanna starts free, then 20. Add-ons, extra users and annual terms change the bill.

Do I need a CRM as a wedding photographer? You need somewhere to keep inquiries, contracts and invoices. 17hats, Dubsado and HoneyBook each list that; a spreadsheet and a payment link is the other way. We do not know which is faster for you.

Can AI write my inquiry replies and posts? HoneyBook lists HoneyBook AI. Wanna drafts posts, ads and letters. Posts, applications and ads always wait for your OK. In Approve everything, every letter waits for your OK. We did not test either on a wedding inquiry, so check names, dates and venues before anything is sent.

Can AI find me more wedding bookings? Wanna can draft the posts and notes to venues and planners that might bring them. Sending is off for every new company. It has no wedding results yet, and it books nothing.

Is Wanna software for wedding photographers? No. It helps an owner choose and draft the next marketing task. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
