Wanna / AI tools for event planners
7 AI tools for event planners
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 29 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are US dollars and change; open each link before you decide.
Short answer. If you own an event planning business with one to five people, the paperwork splits five ways: answering inquiries and sending proposals and contracts, building the plan (timeline, budget, vendors, guest list), drawing the room and the seating, answering the phone while you are on site, and telling people your company exists. Aisle Planner, Dubsado and HoneyBook handle the first, Planning Pod and Aisle Planner the second, Social Tables the third, Goodcall the fourth, and Wanna chooses what to post and offer this week and drafts it for your OK. The seven are alphabetical, not scored.
How we chose
Each vendor's own page names event work, or is a general tool an event business could use. Prices were read on each vendor's own pricing page on 29 Oct 2026 between 21:00 and 21:06 UTC, with the billing term the page gives. We read pages and ran none of these tools except Wanna.
The seven
| Tool | What it does | Price, read 29 Oct 2026 | Honest minus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aisle Planner | Planner software: lead management, scheduling assistant, proposals and interactive quotes, e-signatures, invoicing and online payments. From the 15-project plan: client portal, timelines, checklists, budgets, vendor and file management, guest management, layouts and seating, event website and online RSVP | Sales Essentials 49.99 a month. Up to 15 projects 69.99. 16 to 25 projects 109.99. 26 to 50 164.99. 51 to 100 229.99. Unlimited users on every plan. 30-day trial, credit card required | The price climbs with active projects. The entry plan lists none of the project tools: portal, timelines, budgets and guest tools start at 69.99. The page names no AI feature |
| Dubsado | Client management: lead capture forms, form and email templates, client portals, invoices and payment plans, contracts. Its page lists Event Planners among the businesses it serves | Starter 35, Premier 55 on the page's monthly view; 335 and 525 a year. Three extra users free, then 25 a month for 4 to 10 users. 21-day trial of Premier, no card | Starter has 1 active lead capture form. Scheduling, automated workflows, proposals you can share and track, and Zapier are Premier only. The page names no AI feature |
| Goodcall | An AI phone agent that answers calls, takes messages and books, with a local number included | Starter 79 a month, 100 unique customers, then 79 cents each. Growth 129, 500 customers. Scale 299, 2,000 customers. No per-minute charges. Free demo agent, pay when you connect a number | Phone only. It counts each different caller once a month, so a busy week of guests, vendors and venues all calling in counts every number. We read no event page and made no test call |
| HoneyBook | Client management: proposals and contracts, invoices and payments, client portal, calendar, forms. HoneyBook AI on every plan: email drafts, AI chat, an automations builder, a meeting notetaker, a Gmail lead finder. Lists an integration that adds 2D and 3D event floor plans | Starter 29 a month billed yearly or 36 billed monthly; Essentials 49 or 59; Premium 109 or 129. 30-day free trial, no card | Starter has up to 2 live lead forms; the scheduler and automations start at Essentials, which allows up to 2 team members. Unlimited team members start at Premium |
| Planning Pod | Event management software: online forms, client portals, budgets and checklists, timelines, floor plans and seating charts, event websites with registration and ticket sales, vendor and client CRM, day-of event orders, guest check-in, surveys. It lists Event Planning Firms and Corporate Event Planning among its industries | No price on the pages we read; the page offers a demo | Built for venues, hotels, conference centers and many other kinds of organization as well, so a one-owner planner may use a fraction of it. With no price shown, you cannot compare it until you ask. The pages name no AI feature |
| Social Tables | Floor plans and seating diagrams for events, attendee lists, collaboration with unlimited collaborators, a diagram export to PDF. The Advanced list includes a BEO uploader that "uses AI" to start events and diagrams from a banquet event order | Free: 1 user, 3 events, 2 diagrams per event, 150 attendees. Standard 49 monthly: 15 events. Pro 150: 50 events. Premium 320: unlimited events. All paid plans have a 12-month commitment | Diagrams only: no proposals, contracts, invoices or client portal. One user on every plan shown. The comparison table marks the BEO uploader with a cross on Standard |
| Wanna | Reads your site, proposes the week's marketing tasks, drafts posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK | Free: 100 credits after onboarding, about 10 tasks. Starter 20 a month, 200 credits, about 20 tasks. Growth 49, 5,000 credits, about 500 tasks. Scale 149, up to 5 companies. Each extra social account is 13 a month; Starter includes 1 | Early: 5 companies, 0 paying (live). Not event software: no timelines, floor plans, contracts, invoices or call answering, and no event planner case study |
By job
Inquiries, proposals, contracts and invoices: Aisle Planner, Dubsado and HoneyBook. Drafting replies with AI: HoneyBook lists email drafts on every plan; Aisle Planner and Dubsado name none on the pages we read. The event plan itself (timeline, budget, checklist, vendor list): Planning Pod, and Aisle Planner from the 15-project plan. Guest lists and RSVP pages: Planning Pod and Aisle Planner. Floor plans and seating: Social Tables, Planning Pod, Aisle Planner's layouts and seating, or HoneyBook through the floor plan integration it lists. Missed calls while you are on a venue walk-through: Goodcall. Posts and offers for your own company: Wanna works from your website and needs no event software; it drafts the next post or a slow-month offer for your OK. Related: photographers and local service businesses.
What Wanna is and is not
Wanna drafts. Posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page at 21:04 UTC on 29 Oct 2026: 5 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 27 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside. We have no event planner results to show. Wanna does not build a run of show, draw a floor plan, write a contract, bill a client or answer a call.
What this list does not replace
It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. No tool here replaces your site visit to the venue, the signed vendor contracts, the catering and headcount numbers confirmed in writing, or your own judgment on the day. Permits, fire capacity limits, alcohol service rules and insurance for each event come from the venue, the city and your insurer, not from software. A drafted proposal or reply still needs your review before the client sees it. See the limits of a self-running company.
FAQ
What are the best AI tools for event planners? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the seven by task, and the table gives each price as the vendor shows it.
What is the best software for a small event planning business? Aisle Planner, Dubsado and HoneyBook cover inquiries to invoices. Planning Pod covers the event plan itself. Social Tables covers floor plans. We ran none of them, so try one on an event you have already booked.
How much does event planning software cost? Entry prices shown: Social Tables free, then 49 a month; HoneyBook 29 billed yearly or 36 billed monthly; Dubsado 35; Aisle Planner 49.99; Goodcall 79. Planning Pod shows no price. Wanna starts free, then 20. Extra users, project counts and annual terms change the bill.
Is there AI that writes replies to event inquiries? HoneyBook lists AI email drafts on every plan, and Goodcall answers phone calls with an AI agent. The Aisle Planner and Dubsado pages we read name no AI feature. We tested none of them, so read each draft before it goes out.
Can AI make a floor plan or seating chart for my event? Social Tables lists a BEO uploader that uses AI to start an event and its diagrams from a banquet event order, shown as not included on Standard. Planning Pod and Aisle Planner list seating and layouts without naming AI. We did not test any of them.
Can AI answer my phone while I am on site? Goodcall lists an AI phone agent from 79 a month with a free demo agent. Test it on your own callers, including a vendor who needs a quick answer on load-in time.
Can AI write posts and offers for my event business? Wanna drafts posts, ads and letters and waits for your OK before anything goes out. We did not test the others on this. Check any date, venue name or price before it is published.
Do I need client management software if I use Wanna? Yes. Wanna does not write a contract, send an invoice or run your event timeline.
Is Wanna software for event planners? No. It helps an owner choose and draft the next marketing task. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
