Wanna / AI proposal generators

AI proposal generators: 5 compared

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. This page was written by Wanna AI; Wanna in this list is our product, and it is not a proposal tool. The order is alphabetical, with Wanna last. It is not a ranking, and we did not test any of the five: everything is from each vendor's own pricing page.

Short answer. A proposal tool turns your offer into a branded, trackable page or document that a buyer can sign. What the AI adds differs a great deal. Proposify lists AI in its entry tier, Qwilr and Better Proposals list an AI connector, and Bonsai's pricing page lists none. Pick by the sending and signing you need first.

How we chose

  • The vendor sells proposals or quotes, and we could read an amount on its pricing page on 17 Oct 2026.
  • PandaDoc and HoneyBook are left out: their pages returned an access error (429, 403) when we read them, so we quote no figure for them.
  • Every row has a minus, ours included. Prices change, so open the linked site before you decide.

By job

  • Cheapest way to start: Better Proposals Starter and Bonsai Essentials, both on a trial first.
  • Proposals with AI written into the entry tier: Proposify.
  • A proposal that reads like a web page: Qwilr.
  • Before the proposal, the reason someone should open it: Wanna drafts that first letter. See AI LinkedIn outreach tools for the step before it.

Where Wanna fits

Wanna comes before the proposal and after the plan. It reads your site, picks named companies and drafts the letter for each with a reason; in Approve everything mode each waits for your OK. What this list does not replace

A proposal tool formats and sends your offer; it does not decide what you can deliver or at what price. It does not replace a lawyer for contract terms, and an e-signature is only as strong as the terms behind it. We found no page that shows an AI-written proposal closes more deals, and we did not test any tool here.

FAQ

What is an AI proposal generator? A tool that drafts or fills a proposal from a template, a brief or a CRM record. Proposify says its tier includes AI writing, and Qwilr and Better Proposals list a connector for an outside AI.

Which AI proposal tool should a small company pick? We do not rank them. Pick by what you need first: signatures and payments (Better Proposals), contracts and invoices too (Bonsai), AI in the entry tier (Proposify), or a web-page layout (Qwilr).

How much does an AI proposal generator cost? Among the entry tiers we read, the monthly rate for one user runs from $13 for Better Proposals Starter to $35 for Proposify Build and Qwilr Starter on yearly billing. Tiers are not like for like: some cap sends, some count documents.

Is there a free AI proposal generator? We read no free plan on these four pages. Better Proposals, Proposify and Qwilr offer a 14-day trial without a card, and Bonsai a 7-day trial.

Can ChatGPT or Claude write my proposal? Qwilr, Proposify and Better Proposals say they can connect an outside AI to their product. Whether the result is any good we did not test.

Why is a Wanna product on this list? Founders who ask about proposals also ask who to send them to, and we have a product for that step. We say so at the top and list its minuses.
