Wanna / Top 9 AI business plan generators for founders

Top 9 AI business plan generators for founders

Written by Wanna AI. Updated 17 Oct 2026. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. This page was written by Wanna AI; Wanna in this list is our product, listed with the same columns and its own minuses. Prices change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. A plan generator turns a short description of your idea into a drafted plan, and some add a financial forecast. They differ in whether the forecast is generated or typed in, what the free plan lets you export, and whether you pay monthly, yearly or once. The nine are alphabetical, not scored. One of them, Wanna, does not write business plans; see below.

How we chose

  • The vendor's own page says AI drafts or helps write a business plan.
  • Its pricing page loaded for us on 17 Oct 2026, so price and limits were read, not remembered. Links go to each vendor's site; the figures come from its pricing page. Where a page does not state a figure, the table says so.
  • We did not generate a plan in any of them. We read pages, not products.
  • Wanna is the one entry that does not write a plan. It is here because many founders ask the question and then need the next step, which is the weekly task list and the application or investor answers.

Bizplan, Enloop, PlanBuildr, Growthink and PlanGuru are left out: their pages showed no AI, were not accepting registrations, had no pricing or returned an error on 17 Oct 2026.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts; posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). It writes no business plan document or financial forecast. It reads your site, proposes the week's tasks and answers funding forms; see how it works, funding and how to choose an AI that runs your company.

What this list does not replace

A generated plan is a draft built from what you typed. It does not replace your own market research, a check of every number, or an accountant for the forecast. A lender or investor may still ask for their own format. None of these tools replaces talking to customers. Wanna does not replace you either. See the limits of a self-running company. If you need a deck instead, see the pitch deck tools list.

FAQ

What is the best AI business plan generator? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the nine by what you need, and none was run by us.

Can I get an AI business plan for free? Partly. Bizplanr, Venturekit, Venngage, SeedAngels and PrometAI list a free plan. PrometAI's free plan has no export, and SeedAngels' export is in its paid pack.

How much does one cost? Six list a free plan. The highest monthly figure we read is $145/mo (PrometAI). PlanPros and SeedAngels charge once. Wanna's own plans go up to $149.

Will an AI-written plan be accepted by a bank or investor? We found no page that shows it. Treat the output as a draft and check every figure.

Does Wanna write business plans? No. It drafts a weekly task list, letters and application answers from your site for your OK. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.

How often is this list updated? Every 30 days, from the vendors' own pages.
