Wanna / Four AI personal assistant apps
Four AI personal assistant apps
Written by Wanna AI. Updated 17 Oct 2026. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. This page was written by Wanna AI; Wanna in this list is our product, and it is not a general assistant, so read its row with that in mind. The order is alphabetical, with Wanna last. It is not a score.
Short answer. A personal assistant app is a chat assistant you open to ask questions, draft text, summarize documents or work through a task. The four here differ mainly in how usage is metered and what the price bundles: Claude and Mistral sell the assistant on its own, Gemini bundles it with Google storage, and Copilot is sold inside Microsoft 365.
How we chose
- The vendor's own pages describe an assistant for an individual's daily work, and show a plan an individual can buy.
- We read each vendor's own site on 17 Oct 2026. Where a page showed no price, no trial or no number for a limit, the table says "not found".
- Only four pass that test. ChatGPT and Perplexity are not listed because their own sites, and OpenAI's help site, answered our fetch with an access error on 17 Oct 2026, so we had no page to quote. We did not take their prices from a search snippet or a review.
- We ran none of the four. Everything about them is what their pages say.
The four at a glance
| App | What it does | Who it is for | Price and usage limits, read 17 Oct 2026 | Honest minuses |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Claude | "The trusted assistant for you to do your best work": chat, projects and a Cowork workspace | Individuals, teams and enterprises, each with plans | Free: usage resets on a rolling five-hour window, up to 5 projects. Pro: monthly rate of $17 for one user with annual billing ($200 billed up front), or $20 billed monthly. Max from $100 monthly, at 5x or 20x Pro usage. Team Standard seat: $20 for one seat on annual billing, more on monthly billing. Enterprise: $20 for one seat, annual, 20-seat minimum | Usage limits apply on every plan, five-hour windows and weekly caps; the lowest Pro price needs annual billing; no free trial found for self-serve paid plans |
| Gemini | Google describes a multimodal assistant for text, audio and images; summarizes documents, drafts outlines, makes images | Not stated; the page speaks of "people" and has a link for students | Free with a Google Account. Google AI Plus: monthly rate of $4.99, twice the Free usage. AI Pro: $19.99, four times the Free usage. AI Ultra from $99.99. Monthly billing; cancel anytime; annual price not found | Usage is compute-based with a five-hour refresh and a weekly limit, even when paid; the price bundles storage and other Google perks, so it is not only the assistant; gemini.google.com itself did not load for us, so audience and features come from Google's overview page |
| Microsoft Copilot | "Chat to find answers, create content, and complete tasks with AI that understands your work" | Individuals at work, life and school, through Microsoft 365 | Microsoft 365 Personal: monthly rate of $9.99 for one user or $99.99 billed yearly, with higher usage than free. Family $12.99 or $129.99, AI for the owner only. Premium $19.99 or $199.99. Pro $99.99, monthly only. A 1-month trial is listed on Microsoft's page | Sold inside Microsoft 365, not as a standalone plan on the page we read; usage is described in words ("higher", "extensive", "limited") not numbers; agent features are limited even on Premium |
| Mistral Le Chat | The product page now reads "Le Chat is now Vibe": an AI agent for long tasks, in chat and coding | Individuals, developers, teams, enterprises | Free, with limited messages and searches. Pro: monthly rate of $14.99 for one user, excluding taxes, with API credits included. Team: $24.99 for one user. Enterprise on contact. Trial and annual price not found | Free and Pro limits are "limited" or "more", with no numbers; the Pro Education price on the page ($14.99) conflicts with its FAQ ($5.99); the product and pricing pages use different names |
| Wanna | Reads your site link, plans your week and drafts letters, posts and applications; posts and applications wait for your OK, and letters go out only once you turn sending on; it is not a chat assistant | A founder with a product and little time | Free: plan, matches with sources, first drafts. Starter: 200 credits a month, about 20 tasks. Growth: 5,000 credits, about 500 tasks. Scale: 16,000 credits, up to 5 companies. One task is 10 credits | Not a general assistant: no open chat for any question; it connects only the accounts you link, and your inbox and calendar only if you allow it (Trust); early, with 3 companies of people and 0 paying on the live page at 13:33 UTC on 17 Oct 2026 |
By need
- A standalone assistant with a free tier: Claude, Gemini or Mistral.
- Already paying for Microsoft 365: Copilot.
- Already deep in Google storage and apps: Gemini.
- A cap you can read in numbers: on the pages we read, no plan gives a plain message count, only multiples of another plan or words; read each limit page before you pay.
- The next task for your company, not an open chat: Wanna.
Where Wanna fits
Wanna is not a chat assistant. You paste your site link, it plans the week and drafts the work, and posts and applications wait for your OK (how it works). If you want to ask anything and get an answer, pick from the four above. If you are deciding how far an AI should act for your company, read how to choose an AI that runs your company. What this list does not replace
A vendor's page is a claim. This list does not replace a week of real use on your own work, and we have not done that for you. It does not replace your own check of what each vendor keeps from your chats and whether it trains on them, which matters before you paste customer data into any assistant. It does not replace a person who checks facts, figures and quotes in the draft the assistant gives you.
FAQ
What is an AI personal assistant app? It is a chat app with an AI model that helps one person with questions, drafts and documents. The four here describe it on their own pages; we did not test them.
Are there free AI personal assistant apps? Claude, Gemini and Mistral list a free plan, each with usage limits. Copilot's pages refer to "higher usage than free", but we saw no free plan price block.
How much do AI personal assistant apps cost? In these four, paid plans start at monthly rates of $4.99 (Gemini AI Plus), $9.99 (Microsoft 365 Personal, which includes Copilot), $14.99 (Mistral Pro) and $17 (Claude Pro, annual billing; $20 billed monthly).
Why are ChatGPT and Perplexity missing? Their own sites answered our fetch with an access error on 17 Oct 2026, so we could not read a pricing page to quote.
Can Wanna act as my personal assistant? Not in the open-chat sense. Wanna plans and drafts work for your company; posts and applications wait for your OK, and letters go out only once you turn sending on. It connects only the accounts you link to it: social accounts and pages to publish, Gmail to send and, if you allow it, your inbox, your calendar and Calendly (Trust). It is our product, so its minuses are in the table like the others.
How often is this list updated? Every 30 days, from the vendors' own pages.
