Motion alternatives for a small B2B team

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026 (2026-10-17), refreshed every 30 days. Wanna in this list is our product and it is the last row, so read that row with care. Order is alphabetical, Wanna last; it is not a score. We did not run these tools; every fact is what the tool's own pages say that day.

Short answer. Motion plans your calendar and tasks with AI. Which alternative fits depends on what you want to change: lighter daily planning (Sunsama, Morgen), a task inbox on top of your calendar (Akiflow), meeting and focus-time automation (Reclaim), or a different job altogether, where the work is growth tasks and not your own schedule (Wanna).

What Motion itself lists

Motion lists two AI plans with a free trial, on two tabs. On the Teams tab, Pro AI is $19 and Business AI $29 a seat a month on annual billing, or $29 and $49 on monthly billing. On the Individuals tab, Pro AI is $29 and Business AI $39 a month on annual billing, or $49 and $69 on monthly billing. Pro AI includes 7,500 credits for each seat every month and Business AI 15,000; Business adds team capacity planning, dashboards, time tracking and priority support. The page opens on the Teams tab with annual billing, so pick your tab and billing before you compare.

Motion itself is good when you want one AI tool for tasks, projects, docs and meetings. Its minus is credits: AI use draws on a monthly allowance, and each seat gets a fixed amount.

Which job were you hiring Motion for

If you hired Motion to protect your day, the four planners above compete for that job; try two on the same week of work. If you hired it to get more done on growth, such as who to write to and what to post, a planner only arranges time for tasks you already thought of. Wanna proposes the tasks and prepares them for your OK (how it works). Related reading: n8n alternatives, Make alternatives and Lindy alternatives.

What this list does not replace

Wanna does not replace Motion: it has no calendar, no task board and no meeting scheduling. If Motion already keeps your week in order and your team uses it, keep it.

FAQ

What are the best Motion alternatives? It depends on the job. Reclaim automates focus time and meetings, Sunsama and Morgen are daily planners, and Akiflow gathers tasks in one inbox. We do not rank them.

Is there a free alternative to Motion? Reclaim lists a free Lite plan. The others here list a free trial only.

Is Motion cheaper than Reclaim? On yearly billing, Reclaim lists Starter at $10 a seat a month; Motion lists Pro AI at $19 a seat on its Teams tab and $29 on its Individuals tab. On monthly billing it is $12 for Reclaim against $29 (Teams) and $49 (Individuals) for Motion. Motion's price also covers AI credits, projects and docs, so compare the jobs as well as the prices.

Does Motion have a free trial? Its pricing page says to start your free trial and cancel anytime.

Can Wanna replace Motion? No. Wanna drafts growth work for your OK; it does not plan your calendar or tasks.
