Wanna / n8n alternatives

n8n alternatives for a small B2B team

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026 (2026-10-17), refreshed every 30 days. Wanna in this list is our product and it is the last row, so read that row with care. Order is alphabetical, Wanna last; it is not a score. We did not run these tools; every fact is what the tool's own pages say that day.

Short answer. n8n is a workflow builder you can host yourself. Which alternative fits depends on what you want to change: a hosted builder with more apps (Zapier), credit-priced flows (Activepieces, Make), an AI agent builder (Gumloop), or a different job altogether (Wanna).

What n8n itself lists

n8n says all plans include unlimited users and workflows and every integration, and that it prices by monthly workflow executions "regardless of complexity". Billed annually, Starter is 20 euros a month for 2.5K executions and Pro is 50 euros for 10K, both hosted by n8n with a free trial and no card. Business is 667 euros for 40K executions and is self-hosted only; Enterprise is by contact. Starter lists forum support. A Community Edition is available on GitHub.

Team: $200 a month, 50,000 credits, 25 usersFree credits reset daily and a free account waits until tomorrow once they are used; SSO and standard roles start at Team
GumloopBuilding AI agents and flows on 35+ models; users listed as unlimitedPro starts at $37 a month, 14-day free trial, 20k credits a month, orchestration 8%No free tier, only a 14-day trial; the 8% comes on top of credits
MakeVisual scenarios; its help center also describes an AI agent appFree plan of 1,000 credits a month, per its pricing page; we read no paid-plan pricesPaid prices not readable by us; AI modules use a variable number of credits based on tokens, per its help center
ZapierNo-code automation across 9,000+ appsFree: 100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps. Professional: "starting from $19.99 /month". Team: from $69 a month, 25 usersThe page does not say in text whether $19.99 is monthly or yearly billing; Zapier Agents are priced separately in activities; no self-hosted option on its pricing page
WannaReads your site, proposes growth tasks, drafts letters, posts and ads for your OKFree: the plan, matches and first drafts. Starter $20 a month, 1 company, 200 credits (about 20 tasks). Growth $49, 5,000 credits. Scale $149, up to 5 companies. PlansNot a workflow builder: it does not move data between your tools and cannot be self-hosted. Early: on 17 Oct 2026, 13:15 UTC, the live page counted 3 companies of people and 0 paying companies

n8n itself is good when you want to own the server; its minus is that you build and maintain the flows yourself, and Starter lists forum support only.

Which job were you hiring n8n for

If you want to keep control of the server, n8n and Activepieces are the two here that list a way to run it yourself. If you only want fewer moving parts, a hosted builder such as Zapier or Make removes the hosting. If the workflows are mostly AI agents, Gumloop is built around them. Prices count different things (executions, tasks, credits), so price one real week of your own work in each before comparing.

Wanna is a different job: it proposes growth work and prepares it for your OK (how it works, what it will not do). Related reading: Make alternatives and Lindy alternatives.

What this list does not replace

Wanna does not replace n8n: it builds no workflows, moves no data between your tools and has no self-hosted version. This list does not replace a trial either. If n8n already runs your automations and someone on your team maintains it, keep it.

FAQ

What are the best n8n alternatives? It depends on the job. Activepieces and Make are builders priced in credits, Zapier is a hosted builder priced in tasks, and Gumloop is built around AI agents. We do not rank them.

Is there a free alternative to n8n? Activepieces lists a $0 plan with 1,000 credits a month, Zapier lists 100 tasks a month, and Make lists 1,000 credits a month. n8n itself has a free Community Edition on GitHub.

Is there a self-hosted alternative to n8n? Activepieces lists hosting in its cloud or on-prem. We saw no self-hosted option on the Zapier, Gumloop or Make pricing pages.

Is n8n cheaper than Zapier? They count different things: n8n counts workflow executions and Zapier counts tasks. Compare them on your own workload using the prices above.

Does Gumloop charge a fee on top of credits? Its pricing page lists an orchestration fee of 8% beside the Pro plan.

Can Wanna replace n8n? No. Wanna drafts growth work for your OK; it does not build workflows or move data between tools.
