Wanna / Salon, no time for marketing

I have no time for marketing at my salon. What can I do?

Shrink marketing to one small job a day. Pick one offer you already have, ask one past client to come back, then stop. You do not need a content calendar. Wanna reads your website and drafts the post or message for you, then waits for your OK. You still read and approve each one. Nothing goes out without that.

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 27 Oct 2026 (Wanna's plan facts; the salon owners' words were read on 22 Oct 2026). Wanna is our product, so read its place below with that in mind.

Who does it for me: an AI team that drafts, you approve

  1. Connect your website. Paste your salon's link. Wanna reads the site and asks whether it understood your salon right.
  2. The AI team drafts. It prepares posts, an offer and a message asking clients for a review.
  3. You approve. Each draft waits for your OK. Nothing is posted or sent without it.

It does not take bookings or payments, and it does not text your clients by itself. More on where it fits is below.

What salon owners say

We found one open source we could re-read word for word: a stylist podcast, episode 436, published 4 May 2026. Its host, who coaches stylists and salon owners, says that when she talks to them, they tell her:

"I just don't have time for social media. I don't have time for marketing. I don't have time to do my website. I don't have time to work on the referral program. Time, time, time."

Source: thrivingstylist.com, episode 436. This is the host's rendering of what many owners say, not one owner's post, and it tells us nothing about how many salons feel this way. We also read salon owners' reviews of booking apps on a review site, but the site blocked our re-check, so we quote none of them. Our evidence is thin: one voice, well placed.

Notice what is on the list: four separate jobs. Social media, the website, the referral program and "marketing" in general. Four open jobs is a lot to face after a full day on your feet.

Step 1: pick one job, not four

Choose the one that is closest to a booked chair. For most salons that is a message to people who already know you.

  1. Write down one offer you already have, such as a service, a quiet weekday or a new location.
  2. Write one short message about it to past clients, with your booking link.
  3. Send it, then stop for the day.

We have not measured how long this takes, and it will differ by salon. The point is the size of the job: one offer, one message.

Step 2: make one habit, not a plan

A plan you cannot keep is another thing on the list. Instead, give the job a fixed slot, for example the gap after your first client, and use the same slot each day. If you skip a day, do not catch up. Do the next small job.

Step 3: ask for the review while the client is in the chair

Ask at the end of the visit and send the review link while the client is still with you. Doing it later is another job on the list.

Where Wanna fits

You paste your website link. Wanna reads the site and asks whether it understood the salon right. Then it drafts the first things for you to approve, such as posts, an offer and a message to ask clients for reviews. In a test on a sample salon, not a customer, five things were ready after eight short steps, and the save page said "made for you in 26 seconds". That is how long drafting took on screen, not how long you will spend approving.

Each draft waits for your OK. Nothing is posted or sent without it. Read from our pricing page on 27 Oct 2026: the Free plan covers the plan and the first drafts at no cost. It gives 100 credits after setup, enough for about 10 tasks, plus daily task credits once you confirm your email. Starter is 20 USD a month for 200 credits, about 20 tasks or about one a day, with 1 social account included.

We have not timed how long a salon owner takes to approve a day's draft. We aim for a very short daily check and have no measurement yet. Wanna is an early product with no results numbers for salons, and this page does not promise more bookings.

For a worked example on a real salon's site, see AI agents for salons.

What Wanna does not replace

  • It does not replace you in the chair or the conversation with a client. Asking for a review in person is still yours.
  • It does not take bookings or payments. Clients book and pay your salon directly.
  • It does not remove the check. A draft can be wrong about your salon, and you are the one who knows.
  • It does not make a quiet week busy. It prepares the work that gives a quiet week a chance.
