What we found when we asked

On 24 Oct 2026 we put this exact question to two AI answer engines and one web search. A third engine returned an empty answer twice, so it is not counted.

One engine said there is currently no single "set-and-forget" AI tool that completely runs every part of a small business's marketing without any human input, and told the reader to keep a human check on brand voice and discounts. The web search said several tools now market a small cafe or salon with little ongoing input, and added that most still have you set them up first and many have you approve what they produce. Between them the three answers named tools such as Scalio, NoimosAI, Zoca, GlossGenius, Vagaro and Phorest. Much of what we read about them is the vendors' own description, and we have not tested any.

None of the three answers named Wanna.

What "by itself" usually means

Owners who ask this question tend to mean one of three things:

• It writes. Captions, an offer for a quiet weekday, a text to past clients, a reply to a review.
• It plans. Which offer, to whom, on which day.
• It sends and posts on its own. A post or a text goes out under your name, so look at this one closely.

The first two are where an AI helps today. The third is where tools differ, and where an owner is right to want a say. Opening hours, prices and the day an offer ends have to come from you.

What Wanna does for a cafe or salon
