ChatGPT vs Claude for a small business
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product; it appears only in the section "Where Wanna fits", not in the table. We did not run a quality test of either assistant, so this page does not say which answers better. It compares what each vendor lists: tiers, prices, limits and data terms. Prices change; open each link before you decide.
Short answer. Both list a free tier, an individual paid tier at a similar entry price, and a team tier with shared billing and admin controls. The differences we could read are how usage is limited, which tools each connects to, and what each says about training on business data.
How we compared
- Same rows for both products; a figure we could not read is printed as "not found".
- ChatGPT: the price list on chatgpt.com, read in a browser on 17 Oct 2026. It showed euros to our reader, so we print euros; your region may differ. The Business tab showed seat types but no amounts in the text we read.
- Claude: the price list on claude.com, read on 17 Oct 2026, in US dollars.

Criteria that decide it
- Where your files and chats already live. Both list Microsoft 365; only ChatGPT lists Google Workspace in the text we read.
- How many people. Both sell a shared tier for small teams.
- Data terms. On an individual tier of either product, check the training setting yourself.
- How heavy the use is. Neither publishes message counts, so test one real week before committing the team.
Where Wanna fits

What neither replaces
Neither replaces a person who checks output before a customer sees it, or a lawyer, accountant or security reviewer. Neither knows your books or customers unless you connect them. See the limits of an autonomous company.
