Wanna / Which AI tools run a startup
Which AI tools actually run a startup, and which only draft? A table by how much they do without you
No single AI runs a startup alone: in every tool below a person still sets the goal, and where a page says so, approves what leaves the company. Here is each tool by what it does before you approve, and where Wanna sits: it plans and does tasks, you approve what leaves the company.
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 26 Oct 2026. Wanna is our product and one of the eight, so read its row with that in mind. Every cell is from the tool's own page, linked, read on 26 Oct 2026; we ran none of the other seven. "Not found" means the page is silent. Tools whose pages name the held steps come first; the order is not a score. Polsia is left out: its page did not load for us.
The eight, by what the page says is held for your OK
| Tool (page read 26 Oct 2026) | Plans the work | Does the work | Waits for your OK | Price on its own page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lindy | Routines; no company plan | Skills, inbox, meetings | "Anything with outside impact waits for approval"; read-only lookups do not | Free $0, $50 in credits for 7 days; Team from $29.99 a month, 3,000 credits |
| Cofounder | Departments with managers | Tasks marked "Agent task", e.g. brand spec | "Nothing ships without your approval"; incorporating an LLC and opening a bank account are marked "Agent requires approval" | 7-day free trial; Pro from $120 a month; Team $100 a seat, "Coming soon" |
| Wanna | Yes: "plans your week and works through it task by task" | Reads your site, drafts the week's tasks; sending off for new companies | Every letter in "Approve everything"; posts, applications and ads in both modes; money and risky steps | Free $0; Starter $20 a month, 200 credits; Growth $49; Scale $149 (Wanna's plans page) |
| Tasklet | You build the agents | Runs on triggers and schedules | You decide "what they need permission for"; email drafts saved for review | Free trial credits; Starter $25 a month, 10,000 credits; Pro $100 |
| Marblism | "Set the goal. They own it." | Social posts, calls, leads, website, SEO | Only "if they need your input or approval"; no steps listed | From $24 a month on yearly billing; 50 hours a month |
| Sintra | No: you pick a helper | Helpers answer customer email and chat | You set "approval levels"; no steps listed | $48.50 a month on 1 month, $15.60 on 12 months; 250 credits a month |
| Zapier Agents | You set up the agents | Work across 9,000+ apps | Not found on the Agents page | Free: 100 tasks, 400 agent activities a month; paid Agents from about $33.33 a month yearly |

How to read it
- Lindy, Cofounder, Wanna and Tasklet name steps that wait for you. Marblism and Sintra mention approval without naming steps; Zapier Agents and NanoCorp show none. So those four pages do not show what they send alone.
- Cofounder, NanoCorp and Wanna describe work across a whole company on their pages; the rest run jobs or roles you define. This reflects the pages, not how well a tool works.
- Leapd's roundup of 12 AI co-founder tools sorts by autonomy level (updated 7 Aug 2026) and does not list Wanna. This page does not copy its order.
Where Wanna's row has limits
Wanna is in private beta (the Wanna case). On /live at 05:27 UTC on 26 Oct 2026: 5 companies of people, 0 things that went outside in the last 7 days, 0 paying companies, $0 in monthly subscriptions. The home page lists "Daily report by email" and "Autopilot after 30 days" as "In development". Letters stay off until you switch sending on and connect a domain; posts, applications and ads wait for your OK even in Autonomous mode (Autonomy).
What this table does not replace
It does not replace a trial: we read pages, not products. It does not replace the person who approves what leaves the company, an accountant, a lawyer, or your own read of a vendor's terms. Wanna does not take payments for you, sign for you or write your code, and has no SOC 2 report yet (Trust). Prices change; the next check is due by 25 Nov 2026.
FAQ
Is there an AI that can run my startup for me, like an AI CEO? Not alone. A person sets the goal and, where a page says so, approves what goes outside. Wanna plans and does tasks and holds letters, posts, applications, ads and money for your OK.
Which AI tools only draft, and which act on their own? Tasklet saves email drafts for review; NanoCorp says "no human in the loop"; Lindy and Wanna hold outside steps for approval. Four pages do not name which steps are held.
Can a non-technical founder start an autonomous business with AI? These pages do not show one running with nobody watching. Start where approvals are on and read the drafts.
How current are the prices? Each was read on 26 Oct 2026. For a longer list read on 17 Oct, see Top 10 AI CEO tools; for the two modes, Approve everything or Autonomous.
