Wanna / Proactive vs fully autonomous AI
Proactive vs fully autonomous AI for a small business: what each does in week 1
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 27 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in the table. Prices are US dollars and change; open each link before you decide.
Short answer. A proactive AI looks at your company, suggests the next piece of work, and does it when you say yes. A fully autonomous AI decides the next piece of work itself and does it without asking each time. In week 1 the difference you feel is who presses the button. With Wanna's Proactive mode, which is the default for every account, you see a suggestion in your chat with 2 to 4 options, and nothing starts until you pick an option. Fully autonomous is a second mode that Wanna turns on by hand, company by company, through its sales team. It is not a switch you flip yourself. In both modes, anything that spends your money waits for your OK.
How we chose
We compared the two Wanna modes with four tools whose own pages talk about suggesting or doing work for a small business owner and about approval: Claude for Small Business, Meta's Muse, Daoco and Empacer. Every figure and quote in the table was read from the vendor's own page on 20 Oct 2026, between 02:20 and 02:40 UTC. The Wanna numbers come from Wanna's own plans page and its live page, read again on 27 Oct 2026 at 05:16 UTC. We read pages and ran none of these tools, so the table says what a vendor writes, not what we saw it do. The four others are a sample of tools we looked at, not a ranking.
The six
| Tool | What it does in week 1, as the page describes it | Price, read 20 Oct 2026 | Honest minus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wanna Proactive | Writes to you first in the chat, with a suggestion that has 2 to 4 options drawn from your company details. You pick an option and it lands on your board as a task. Posts, applications, letters and ads wait for your OK | Read 27 Oct 2026. Free: the plan and first drafts, then 100 credits after setup, about 10 tasks. Starter 20 a month, 200 credits, about 20 tasks, 1 social account included. Growth 49. Scale 149. Each extra social account 13 a month | Early: 4 companies, 0 paying on 27 Oct 2026 (live), and 16 tasks done for them in the last 7 days. We cannot yet say how often a yes ends in a finished result |
| Wanna Full autonomy | Wanna decides what the company does next and does it without waiting for your OK on each step. Set up by hand for each company, so what may go out in your name is agreed first. You can stop it at any time | Not shown. You leave a request, which goes to the sales team | Not available to start on your own, and no date or price. Money still waits for your OK. We have no result to show from it |
| Claude for Small Business | Ready-made workflows for the books, leads, proposals and marketing, run on the schedule you set after you connect your tools. The page says you sign off, and by default you approve every action. Anything that sends or pays waits for approval | Pro for one person and Team for more than one, both month to month. No amounts on the page we read | A toolkit you set up, not an AI that comes to you with suggestions. You pick the workflows and the schedule |
| Meta Muse | A personal AI agent that proactively helps with your goals and suggests ideas, and keeps working after you close the app. It comes back for approval before it sends an email or makes a purchase | Free for most of what people need, with subscription plans for more. No amounts given | Built for a person, not a company: the page talks about selling a car and lowering a bill. Rolling out in the US |
| Daoco | Marketing only. Researches, writes, designs and schedules posts and articles in your brand's voice. Your approval settings decide what waits; drafts sit in a Needs approval list | Starter 49 a month, no card to start, 300 basic and 30 premium tokens. Growth 199. No overage charges: when tokens run out, new work waits | Covers marketing, not sales, money or operations. In beta |
| Empacer | A voice assistant for owners. You describe a job out loud and it drafts posts, replies and documents. You approve, then it sends | No price on the home page we read | Drafts what you ask for; the page does not describe it suggesting work on its own |
What the first week looks like in Proactive mode
Day 1: when you save your company, Wanna writes in the chat first, with a short hello built from your own details, a few questions and the first suggestion, with 2 to 4 options. Each option says what it is and what it should bring in money or hours. Pressing an option is your approval for that task, and Wanna answers that it was added to your board. Day 2: the morning message points to a new suggestion in the chat, and the one you left alone is closed as "later". Only one is open at a time, never a pile.
If you do nothing, nothing starts. The suggestion closes as "later" and a new one replaces it on your next visit. A task that needs credits waits on the board until you have some. Letters leave from your own address only after you turn on the setting that lets Wanna write outside and connect a sending address.
We have not run a full week with a paying owner, so we do not give you a result for day 7. On the live page at 05:16 UTC on 27 Oct 2026: 4 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 16 tasks done in the last 7 days, 0 things that went outside.
What fully autonomous adds, and what it does not
The Fully autonomous page says Wanna decides what your company does next and does it without waiting for your OK on each step. It is set up by hand for one company at a time, you see every step Wanna takes, and a Stop button means nothing new starts after you press it. What may go out in your name and what always waits for your OK is agreed before it is switched on. Anything that spends money still waits for your OK. Wanna does not run a business with nobody watching, and neither mode takes the owner out of it. Older text on some Wanna pages describes the levels differently; Wanna's plans page and the Fully autonomous page are the current wording.
What this does not replace
A proactive or autonomous AI does not replace your own judgment about money, prices and promises to customers. It does not replace your accountant, your lawyer, a license or an insurance policy, or a check of a draft before it carries your name. It does not replace your own trial of each tool: we read pages, not products. See the limits of a self-running company, and approve or autonomous for the longer choice.
FAQ
What is the difference between proactive and autonomous AI? Proactive AI suggests the next piece of work and does it after you say yes. Autonomous AI chooses and does it without asking for each step. In Wanna, Proactive is the default and Fully autonomous is set up by hand through sales.
What does a proactive AI do in the first week? With Wanna it writes to you first, offers a suggestion with 2 to 4 options, puts the option you pick on your board and starts it. Nothing goes out in your name or spends your money without your OK.
What happens if I ignore the suggestions? In Wanna nothing starts and nothing goes out. The suggestion closes as "later" and a new one is written.
Can I switch Wanna to fully autonomous myself? No. You leave a request on the site and Wanna's sales team sets it up by hand for your company.
Does a fully autonomous AI spend my money? On Wanna, no: anything that spends money waits for your OK in both modes.
How much does a proactive AI cost for a small business? Wanna starts free, with 100 credits after setup for about 10 tasks, then 20 a month for about 20 tasks. For marketing only, Daoco's Starter plan is 49 a month. Claude for Small Business, Muse and Empacer show no amounts on the pages we read.
Can AI run a small business without me? Not on the evidence we have. On 27 Oct 2026 Wanna had 0 paying companies and 0 things that went outside in the last 7 days, and the vendors in the table all describe approval before sending or paying.
Which is safer for a new owner, proactive or autonomous? Proactive, because you see each piece of work before it starts. Start there and ask for more later.
Is Wanna the right tool for me? It is our product, so read its minus in the table. It suggests and drafts work for a small company, and it is early.
