Wanna / Top 9 AI workflow automation tools
Top 9 AI workflow automation tools
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. This page was written by Wanna AI; Wanna in this list is our product, and it is not a workflow tool, so read its row with that in mind. The order is alphabetical, with Wanna last. It is not a score.
Short answer. An AI workflow automation tool moves data between your apps on a trigger and lets an AI step read, write or decide along the way. The nine differ mostly in what they count: tasks, credits, executions, runs or a quote. Eight move data between your apps on a trigger. Wanna does not: it has no triggers and moves no data between your apps. It plans your week, drafts the work for your OK, and connects only the accounts you link to it: social accounts and pages to publish, Gmail to send and, if you allow it, your inbox, your calendar and Calendly (Trust).
How we chose
- The vendor's own page names automation of work between apps, and some AI feature: AI steps, agents, a copilot or MCP.
- We could read the vendor's own pricing page on 17 Oct 2026. Where it showed no price, the table says "not found" and we did not fill the gap from a review.
- Relay.app is not listed: its own home page says it shut down in September 2026, and its pricing page returns a 404. Gumloop is not listed here because it is an agent builder, and it sits in our no-code AI agent builders list.
- We did not run any of the nine except Wanna. Everything about the other eight is what their pages say.
- Every row has the same five columns and its own minuses. Prices change, so open the linked page before you decide.
The nine at a glance
| Tool | What it does | Who it is for | Price and plan limits, read 17 Oct 2026 | Honest minuses |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Activepieces | "A path for every team at your company to build with AI"; flows, agents and tables, with a chat-to-automation feature | Free for getting started, Plus for daily builders, Team for growing teams, Ultimate for enterprise scale | Free $0: 1,000 credits monthly, 5 users, unlimited flows. Plus $20: 10,000 credits, 5 users. Team $200: 50,000 credits, 25 users. Ultimate custom. Overage $0.007 per credit | Billed in credits: each run is 1 credit and an AI step is 2, 10 or 20 depending on the model, unless you bring your own AI keys; own keys are not on Free; the page does not name a currency code |
| Make | "Build and manage AI agents and automations in one visual landscape"; a workflow is a "scenario" | Executives, change leaders and builders; a Start-up Plan for businesses under 20 employees | Free: 1,000 credits monthly, 1 data store, no card, no time limit. Core, Pro, Teams, Business and Enterprise are named; no price or credit amount for them was found on its own page | Prices for the paid plans not found on its own page: the page as read showed no plan cards; credits expire at the end of the term; it does not say which plans include the AI agents |
| n8n | "Automate business processes without limits on your logic"; you pay for full executions, not for each step | Starter for first workflows and agents, Pro for solo builders and small teams in production, Business for companies under 100 employees | Starter 20 EUR monthly rate, billed annually: 2,500 executions. Pro 50 EUR, billed annually: 10,000 executions. Business 667 EUR, billed annually: 40,000 executions, 14-day trial. Enterprise on request. Community Edition free, self-hosted | Euro prices on annual billing only, no monthly price shown; Business is self-hosted only; the page gives two concurrency figures for Pro, so check the plan table; Enterprise needs sales |
| Pipedream | "Free to build. Pay when your integrations go to production."; AI agents and MCP servers included | Teams shipping integrations and agents to production | Free $0, no card: development use only. Startup $99 monthly rate on annual billing or $150 billed monthly, 100 users and 10,000 credits included, then $0.012 per credit. Business custom, annual only | The Free plan has no production use; extra users beyond the 100 included are billed per user; the pairing of the two Startup prices to their billing labels comes from a page read that was partly garbled |
| Power Automate | Cloud flows, desktop flows and process mining "built for enterprise"; Copilot writes automations from plain-language prompts | Organizations; Premium for individual users, Process and Hosted Process for unattended automation | 30-day trial. Premium $15.00 for each user monthly, paid yearly. Process $150.00 for each bot monthly, paid yearly. Hosted Process $215.00 for each bot monthly, paid yearly. Process Mining add-on $5,000.00 monthly per tenant, paid yearly | All prices are paid yearly, so an annual commitment; each bot runs one unattended flow at a time; agents (Copilot Studio) are priced separately in prepaid credits and need an Azure subscription; the page says the price at checkout may differ |
| Tray.ai | "One governed platform for agents, MCP, intelligent automation, and integration" | Pro for specific use cases, Team for a department, Enterprise for several departments and partner integrations | Not found on its own page: no price for any tier; "based on usage and features" with a quote from sales. No free tier; a trial is offered through sales | No prices; every tier needs a sales quote; agent and MCP features sit in a separate add-on, not in the tiers |
| Workato | "The control & execution platform to govern AI, connect apps and data, and orchestrate workflows and agents" | Organizations "of all sizes and needs"; the home page leans to enterprises that need central control of agents | Not found on its own page: no plan name, price, billing basis or limit; the buttons are "Schedule a demo", "Talk to sales" and "Start for free" | No price; trial terms not stated; the page does not say which plans include the agent features |
| Zapier | Automation built from "Zaps"; AI by Zapier, a Copilot, Agents, Chatbots and MCP are listed on the plans | Free to try solo, Professional for individuals, Team for teams building together, Enterprise for scaling across an organization | Free $0: 100 tasks monthly, two-step Zaps, 1 seat. Professional from $19.99 monthly rate on annual billing or $29.99 billed monthly, at 750 tasks, 14-day trial. Team from $69.00 on annual billing or $103.50 billed monthly, at 2,000 tasks, 25 seats. Enterprise on request | Billed per task tier, and the price shown is the entry tier only; AI by Zapier is not on Free; Agents activities are billed apart from tasks; bring-your-own-model only on Enterprise |
| Wanna | Reads your site link, plans your week and drafts letters, posts and applications; posts and applications wait for your OK, and letters go out only once you turn sending on; it moves no data between your apps, and connects only the accounts you link to it: social accounts and pages to publish, Gmail to send and, if you allow it, your inbox, your calendar and Calendly (Trust) | A founder with a product and little time | Free $0: plan, matches with sources, first drafts, then 10 credits after onboarding. Starter $20, 200 credits (about 20 tasks). Growth $49, 5,000 credits (about 500 tasks). Scale $149, 16,000 credits, up to 5 companies. One task is 10 credits | Not a workflow tool: no triggers, no app connections you design, no data moved between your apps; early, with 3 companies of people and 0 paying on the live page at 12:10 UTC on 17 Oct 2026; no security audit report yet, see Trust |

Where Wanna fits
Wanna is not a workflow tool. You paste your site link, it plans the week and drafts the work, and posts, applications and ads wait for your OK (how it works). If you need data to move between your own apps on a trigger, pick from the eight above. If you are still deciding what kind of AI to put in charge, read how to choose an AI that runs your company and approve everything or autonomous.
What this list does not replace
A vendor's page is a claim. This list does not replace building one real workflow in a free plan and seeing how many tasks, credits or executions it uses, and we have not done that for you. It does not replace a check of where your data goes before an AI step reads customer records, or a person who owns the result when a flow breaks. See what an autonomous company can do today.
FAQ
What is AI workflow automation? It is software that runs a series of steps across your apps when something happens, with an AI step that reads, writes or decides. The tools here say so on their own pages; we did not test them.
Which AI workflow automation tools have a free plan? Activepieces, Make, Pipedream and Zapier list a free plan, and n8n has a free self-hosted Community Edition. Pipedream's Free plan is for development only. Tray.ai and Workato list no free plan.
How much do AI workflow automation tools cost? In these nine, paid plans start near $19.99 (Zapier Professional, monthly rate on annual billing), $20 (Activepieces Plus) or 20 EUR (n8n Starter, billed annually). Power Automate Premium is $15.00 for each user monthly, paid yearly. Make, Tray.ai and Workato showed no paid price on their pages.
Do I need to code to use them? Make, Zapier and Activepieces describe visual or chat building. Pipedream's page is aimed at teams shipping integrations to production, and n8n's at builders. We did not time anyone setting up a first flow, so treat setup time as unknown.
Is Wanna a workflow automation tool? No. Wanna drafts work for your OK; it has no triggers and moves no data between your apps. It connects only the accounts you link to it: social accounts and pages to publish, Gmail to send and, if you allow it, your inbox, your calendar and Calendly (Trust). It is our product, so its minuses are in the table like the others.
Why is Relay.app missing? Its own home page says it shut down in September 2026, and its pricing page returns a 404.
