Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 1 Nov 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are as each vendor's own page showed them on 1 Nov 2026 between 03:20 and 03:30 UTC, in the currency and billing term the page gave. They change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. A small business needs two things: a site that exists, and people who find it. Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Hostinger and Framer build and host the site, and each lists some AI help and some marketing tools. Wanna starts from the other end. It reads a site you have, or one you like, and drafts a first site page, then proposes the week's marketing tasks. Its site is a first draft, not a store. The six are alphabetical, not scored.

How we chose

Each builder's own pricing or product page describes a site a one-person or small business could put up. We read pages and ran none of these builders. The one product we did run is Wanna, on its live site, with a 375 px wide screen on 1 Nov 2026.

By job

A store that takes payments: Shopify. A designer-made look with fine control: Framer or Squarespace. The lowest first-term price on the page: Hostinger, on a 48-month term. A one-prompt first site with a ladder of plans: Wix. A site and the weekly marketing work around it from one place: Wanna, with the limits below. What Wanna builds today

On /hello you paste your website and Wanna reads it. Clone a business is a third door on the same screen: paste the link of a business you like, and Wanna studies its site and how it works, builds your own version and puts a team on it. In the chat, a request such as "build me a landing page" becomes a team task whose result is a hosted page you open from a link; "design" and "product" requests do the same. The page is a first draft made from your company name, your site and your words, with no model call. It is one self-contained page, hidden from search engines, readable at 375 px, and you tell the chat what to change for the next version. It has no custom domain, store, booking or payment. On the live page at 03:23 UTC on 1 Nov 2026: 4 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 0 things that went outside in 7 days.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. No builder replaces a designer for a brand you will keep for years, a developer for a custom store or integration, or you reading every line the site says about prices, returns and your legal terms. A drafted post or letter needs your read for names, dates and prices. Sending is off for every new company, and posts, applications and ads always wait for your OK. FAQ

What are the best AI website builders for a small business? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the six by task, and the table gives each price as the vendor showed it on 1 Nov 2026.

Which AI website builder also does marketing? Shopify lists email campaigns, SMS campaigns and automations on every plan. Hostinger lists an AI SEO assistant and email marketing through Hostinger Reach. Squarespace lists newsletter blocks and AI Visibility. Wanna drafts the marketing tasks and posts. We ran none of the vendors' tools except Wanna.

Can AI build my website for me? Wix, Hostinger, Shopify and Framer each list an AI way to start a site from a prompt or credits. Wanna builds a one-page first draft from your site and your words. We did not test the quality of any of them, so try two on your own business.

Can AI copy a website I like? Wanna's Clone a business door takes the link of a business you like and builds your own version of its site and way of working. Copy means your own words and company, not their text or brand. Check the result before it goes anywhere.

How much does a website builder cost? Entry prices shown: Framer free then 10 a month, Wix free then 17.77 a month billed yearly, Squarespace 12 a month on the lower price, Shopify 27 a month billed yearly, Hostinger 2.49 a month on a 48-month term. Wanna starts free, then 20. Terms, renewals and extras change the bill.

Do I need a separate tool to market my site? You need someone to do the marketing. Some builders include email and SEO tools; the work of choosing and writing the next post is yours or a tool's. Wanna proposes it; posts, applications and ads always wait for your OK.

Is Wanna a website builder? Not a full one. It builds a first draft page and does the marketing around it. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
