Wanna / AI tools for print shops
7 AI tools for print and sign shops
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 20 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are US dollars unless a line says otherwise, and they change; open each link before you decide.
Short answer. If you own a print or sign shop with one to five people, the work splits five ways: quoting jobs and tracking them from proof to pickup, getting a customer's blurry logo into artwork you can cut or print, answering the phone while your hands are on a press or a plotter, asking happy customers for a review, and keeping the shop in front of the neighborhood. Printavo and shopVOX are built for print and sign shops and cover the first. Vectorizer.AI covers the second, Goodcall the third, NiceJob the fourth. Canva and Wanna help with the fifth. The seven are alphabetical, not scored.
How we chose
Each vendor's own pages describe work a print or sign shop does, or a general tool an owner or front desk could use. Prices were read on each vendor's own pricing page on 20 Oct 2026 between 03:49 and 03:51 UTC, with the billing term the page gives. Where a page does not give a term, the table says so. We read pages and ran none of these tools except Wanna.
The seven
| Tool | What it does | Price, read 20 Oct 2026 | Honest minus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Canva | A design editor. Pro lists templates, brand kits, social content scheduling and, in its feature table, export of print-ready designs as CMYK, which Free marks unavailable | Free $0. Pro $144 a year for one person. Business $250 a year per person. We read the yearly view | A general design tool: we saw nothing on its pricing page about cut files, large-format or job tracking. Only one person can use a Pro account. Its pricing page also lists print products, so some of your customers' jobs may start there |
| Goodcall | An AI phone agent that answers your calls. It is billed by the number of different callers it serves, not by minutes | Starter $79 a month for 100 unique customers, then 79 cents each. Growth $129 for 500, then 26 cents. Scale $299 for 2,000, then 15 cents. Free demo agent; you add a number when you are ready | It answers calls; we saw nothing on its pricing page about quotes, a price list or a job file. Starter allows 1 team member and keeps 30 days of call history |
| NiceJob | Review requests by text and email, review widgets for your site, auto-posting to social. On Pro, Repeats sends rebooking reminders based on the last service date, plus referral campaigns, email Broadcasts and AI-written review replies | Starter $75 a month. Pro $125. No contracts, 14-day free trial | Reviews and marketing only: no quotes, no proofs, no order list. We saw no link to Printavo or shopVOX on its pricing page, so whom to ask for a review is yours to export |
| Printavo | Order and production software for print shops: quotes and invoices, a pricing matrix, artwork and quote approvals, order statuses, a mockup creator, a sales pipeline, a mobile app. Its FAQ says it serves screen printers, embroiderers, sign manufacturers, DTG and DTF printers | Lite $109 a month: 2 users, 20 quotes or invoices a month, 5 automations. Standard $244: 5 users, unlimited quotes and invoices, 15 automations, shipping labels, packing slips. Premium: "Contact us". The page does not say whether the figures are billed monthly or yearly | Its product catalogs are apparel suppliers, so it leans toward decorated garments more than signs. Lite stops at 20 quotes or invoices a month. The page says a free 7-day trial in its heading and a 14-day trial in its FAQ |
| shopVOX | Quoting, job board, online proofing and invoicing made for print and sign shops, with QuickBooks Online and Xero sync. Express suits shops under 10 people by the vendor's own words; PRO adds a sales-leads CRM, advanced integrations and premium support | Express $109 a month plus $29 per user a month; the subscription includes one user. PRO $249 a month plus $49 per user, onboarding packages from $499. A 14-day free trial for Express; PRO starts with a demo | The add-ons, such as e-commerce ($199 for each 100 orders, monthly, plus a $299 setup fee), are listed in the PRO column only; Express has none. The vendor says PRO set-up takes 8 to 12 weeks on average, from days to 6 months |
| Vectorizer.AI | Turns a picture, such as a customer's low-resolution logo, into a vector file. You upload and preview as many images as you like and subscribe when you want to download. Its API lists SVG, PDF, EPS, DXF and PNG output | Web App Unlimited: €8.99 a month, billed monthly, cancel anytime. The page defaults to euros and has a currency switch we did not use | A subscription is personal and cannot be shared, so each person who downloads needs their own. The vendor says results depend on the image and points to its free preview. Fees are non-refundable. A person must still check the result before it goes to a cutter or a press |
| Wanna | Reads your website, proposes the week's tasks, drafts posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK | Free: 10 credits after setup, enough for one task. Starter $20 a month, 200 credits, about 20 tasks, about one task a day. Growth $49, 5,000 credits. Scale $149, up to 5 companies. Each extra social account is $13 a month; Starter includes 1 | Early: 4 companies, 0 paying (live). Not print software: no quotes, proofs, artwork or phones, and no print shop case study |
All six list their rates on their own pages. Canva is free at $0, with Pro at $144 a year; Vectorizer.AI €8.99 a month; NiceJob $75, Goodcall $79, Printavo $109 and shopVOX $109 a month. These buy different things, so do not read it as a ranking.
By job
Quotes, proofs and the job list: Printavo and shopVOX. Both list a pricing tool and online approval of artwork; shopVOX describes itself as made for print and sign shops, while Printavo's catalogs lean to apparel. Customer artwork: Vectorizer.AI for the logo, Canva for a quick flyer or post. Missed calls: Goodcall. Review requests and past-customer reminders: NiceJob. Local posts and offers: Wanna, NiceJob's social sharing and Canva's scheduling; Wanna works from your website and needs no shop software, and an offer waits for your OK. Related: local service businesses.
What Wanna is and is not
Wanna drafts. Posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending is off for every new company until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page on 20 Oct 2026: 4 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 27 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside. We have no print or sign shop results to show. Wanna does not quote a job, proof artwork, run a job board, answer a call or ask for a review.
What this list does not replace
It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. No tool here replaces the person at the press or the plotter, the proof your customer signs, or your eye on color and size before a job runs. Vectorizer.AI makes a vector from a picture; it does not give you the right to print someone else's logo, and trademark and copyright questions on customer art stay with you. A sign still needs the permits and local rules that apply to it. Before you give a vendor your customers' names and numbers, ask for its written terms; we did not check them. A drafted post, ad or offer that names prices, dates or materials still needs your review before it goes out. See the limits of a self-running company.
FAQ
What is the best software for a small print shop? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the seven by task, and the table gives each price as the vendor shows it. Printavo and shopVOX are the two whose pages are about running a print shop; we ran neither, so take each one's free trial on a real job.
How much does print shop software cost? Printavo shows $109 a month for Lite and $244 for Standard; shopVOX shows $109 a month plus $29 per extra user for Express. Add-ons, extra users and onboarding change the total, and Printavo's Premium shows no price.
What software do sign shops use to quote and track jobs? shopVOX describes itself as made for print and sign shops, and Printavo's FAQ lists sign manufacturers among its shops. Both list quoting, online proofing and job tracking. We tested neither on a sign job.
Can AI turn a customer's logo into a vector file? Vectorizer.AI converts an image to a vector, from €8.99 a month, and lets you preview before you subscribe. Check the result before it goes to a cutter or a press.
Can AI answer the phone for my print shop? Goodcall is an AI phone agent, from $79 a month. It answers calls; we saw nothing on its pricing page about quotes, and we ran it on no shop's calls.
Can AI send review requests to my print customers? NiceJob lists review requests by text and email from $75 a month. Wanna does not send review requests.
Can AI write posts and offers for my sign shop? Wanna drafts posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK, and sending is off until you turn it on. NiceJob and Canva also cover social posts. We did not test any of them on a print shop.
Do I need shop software if I use Wanna? Yes. Wanna does not quote jobs, proof artwork or track orders.
Is Wanna print shop software? No. It helps an owner choose and draft the next marketing task. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
