Wanna / AI tools for irrigation and sprinkler companies
8 AI tools for irrigation and sprinkler companies
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 20 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are US dollars and change; open each link before you decide.
Short answer. If you own an irrigation or sprinkler company with one to four crews, the work splits five ways: pricing an install or repair by zone, head and valve; booking the same customers every spring for a start-up and every fall for a winterization; routing crews through the weeks when everyone calls at once; answering the phone while you are in a valve box; and asking for the review once the zones run. IrrigationBossPro, Smart Service and FieldCentral are written for irrigation work, and Housecall Pro, Jobber and QuoteIQ each have an irrigation page. NiceJob asks for reviews and sends rebooking reminders, and Wanna chooses what to post and offer this week and drafts it for your OK. The eight are alphabetical, not scored.
How we chose
Each vendor's own pages describe work an irrigation company does, or the tool is general field service software with an irrigation page. Prices were read on each vendor's own pricing page on 20 Oct 2026 between 03:18 and 03:22 UTC, with the billing term the page gives. Jobber's Plus plan and IrrigationBossPro's review requests and office logins were re-read on 29 Oct 2026; Smart Service, Jobber's Plus first-year price, QuoteIQ's irrigation page and Wanna's free plan were re-read on 30 Oct 2026. We read pages and ran none of these tools except Wanna.
The eight
| Tool | What it does | Price, read 20 to 30 Oct 2026 | Honest minus |
|---|---|---|---|
| FieldCentral | Field service software from Hindsite. Its irrigation page lists bulk booking and route optimization for the spring and fall rushes, and automated text or email reminders | Base 277 a month, 1 to 2 users. Ascend 467, 3 to 4 users. Crest 607, 5 to 7 users. Summit 817, 8 to 10. Pinnacle 997, 11 to 13. The Yearly toggle shows 10% less (Base 249.30). A one-time onboarding, training and data migration fee is not included. Book a demo; we saw no free trial | The entry price is for up to 2 users and the setup fee has no amount on the page. Its irrigation page does not mention backflow records |
| Housecall Pro | Field service software with an irrigation page: itemized estimates with online approval, drag-and-drop scheduling, automated appointment reminders, maintenance plans. A CSR AI add-on answers calls and chats | Basic 79 a month (59 billed annually), 1 user. Essentials 189 (149 annually), 5 users, adds routes and checklist automations. Max 329 (299 annually), 8 users, 35 a month for each extra user, adds recurring service plans and route optimization. Intro offers: 26 for the first month on Basic and Essentials, 99 a month for 3 months on Max. 14-day trial, no card. CSR AI: no price on the page | General field service software. Its irrigation page names no start-up, winterization or backflow work, and recurring service plans start at Max |
| IrrigationBossPro | Software for sprinkler and irrigation contractors: line-item bids with zones, heads, valves and backflow devices, a parts catalog, a pending jobs board with routing, invoicing with Stripe, backflow test records, texts to customers. You tag properties for fall winterization and spring start-up and add the whole list to the jobs board at once; customers get an automatic start-up reminder | Start 59 a month, 1 truck, 2 office logins, 500 texts. Pro 89, 2 trucks, 3 logins, 1,000 texts, adds replies to customers, automated invoice sending and automatic card charging. Crew 199, unlimited trucks and logins, 2,000 texts. The page shows monthly prices and no annual option; 500 extra texts are 15. 14-day trial, no card, no contract | The page says unlimited users in several places, but the plan table gives 2 or 3 office logins below Crew. Texts are counted sent and received, and a long text counts as two. We saw no call answering. The page gives no customer count |
| Jobber | Field service software with an irrigation page: quotes with optional line items and follow-ups by text or email, drag-and-drop calendar, map and routing, job forms and checklists, invoicing and online payments. A help article names irrigation start-ups as a fit for creating visits in bulk, up to 100 jobs at a time | Core 49 a month, 1 user (29 billed annually after a lower first-year price). Connect 139 for 1 user (99 annually), adds automated client reminders and quote and invoice follow-ups. Grow 199 for 1 user (149 annually), adds two-way texting. Plus 499 a month for 5 users, or 280 a month for the first 12 months billed annually, then 399. Extra users 29. Add-ons: Receptionist 29 a month for calls and texts, Pipeline 49, Marketing Suite 99. 14-day trial, no card | Its irrigation page names no start-up, winterization or backflow work, so you build your own zone and head price list. Seasonal visits come from a bulk workflow built for snow removal. Add-ons raise the monthly bill |
| NiceJob | Review requests by text and email, review widgets, auto-sharing of reviews to Facebook and X | Starter 75 a month. Pro 125, adds Repeats (rebooking reminders by text and email timed from the last service date), referrals, AI replies to reviews and Broadcasts (email campaigns with AI-written copy). Sites add-on 99 a month plus a 199 setup fee. No contracts, 14-day trial | Reviews and repeat-customer messages only: no estimates, no schedule, no invoices. Repeats starts at Pro |
| QuoteIQ | Estimates, invoices, scheduling and payments. Its irrigation page describes per-zone estimates from satellite measuring, a spring start-up campaign, a winterization campaign and annual backflow test reminders. An AI Virtual Call Team answers calls, billed in credits | Essentials 29.99 a month, 1 user, 500 IQ Credits. Beginner 99.99, 2 users, adds MapMeasure Pro (satellite measuring). Pro 199.99, 4 users, adds email and text automation and job costing. Elite 299.99, 10 users, adds route optimization and mass text and email campaigns. Max 699.99, 20 users. Extra users 25. 14-day trial, card required | Its irrigation page, read 30 Oct, shows Beginner at 74.99, Pro at 149.99 and Elite at 299 for 7 users, not the figures on its pricing page. Confirm at checkout. Card processing fees and extra credits are separate, and unused credits do not roll over |
| Smart Service | Field service software with an irrigation page: set spring start-up, fall blowout and annual backflow test recurrence once per property and the next job is queued and routed; start-up and blowout reminders, repair follow-ups and backflow test notices sent automatically | Starting at 129 per user per month, 5 users minimum; the page says annual billing is 15% less and a 3-year contract 30% less. That is 645 a month at the starting rate for the minimum. The written proposal includes onboarding and data conversion. A free demo; we saw no trial | Built for bigger shops: the 5-user minimum makes a one-crew company pay for five seats. The page gives an estimate, not a plan table |
| Wanna | Reads your site, proposes the week's tasks, drafts posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK | Free: 100 credits after setup, about 10 tasks, plus daily credits once you confirm your email. Starter 20 a month, 200 credits, about 20 tasks. Growth 49, 5,000 credits. Scale 149, up to 5 companies. Each extra social account is 13 a month; Starter includes 1 | Early: 4 companies, 0 paying on 20 Oct (live). Not irrigation software: no estimates, scheduling, dispatch, reminders or call answering, and no irrigation case study |
By job
Pricing by zone, head and valve: IrrigationBossPro bids with zones, heads, valves and backflow devices as line items, and QuoteIQ's irrigation page describes per-zone estimates from satellite measuring. Jobber and Housecall Pro quote any trade with saved line items. Spring start-up and fall winterization: IrrigationBossPro tags properties for both and reminds customers before start-up; Smart Service sets the recurrence once per property and sends the reminders; QuoteIQ's page describes a campaign for each season; FieldCentral lists bulk booking; Jobber's help article describes bulk visits; NiceJob's Repeats sends rebooking reminders from the last service date. Backflow test records: IrrigationBossPro keeps readings and due dates, and Smart Service and QuoteIQ name annual backflow reminders; we saw none on the Jobber, Housecall Pro or FieldCentral irrigation pages. Routing: IrrigationBossPro, Jobber, FieldCentral, Housecall Pro (Essentials and up) and QuoteIQ (Elite and up) list it. Missed calls: Jobber's Receptionist add-on, Housecall Pro's CSR AI add-on, or QuoteIQ's Virtual Call Team on every plan; IrrigationBossPro and Smart Service list none on the pages we read. Review requests: NiceJob focuses on them, IrrigationBossPro sends a Google review request after every completed job on Pro and Crew, and Housecall Pro lists review management. Local posts and offers: Wanna works from your website and needs no job software; Jobber's Marketing Suite add-on builds a marketing plan, and NiceJob's Broadcasts email campaigns from Pro. Related: local service businesses and construction companies.
What Wanna is and is not
Wanna drafts. Posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page at 03:21 UTC on 20 Oct 2026: 4 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 27 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside. We have no irrigation results to show. Wanna can draft a spring start-up post or offer for your OK. It does not know your customers' last service dates, send appointment reminders, write an estimate, schedule a crew, take a booking or answer a call.
What this list does not replace
It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. A bid built from a zone count does not replace a walk of the property to check pressure, water source, soil and where the lines run before you commit to a number. No software replaces a call to your local utility locator before digging, a licensed backflow tester where your state or water district requires one, your contractor or irrigation license, liability insurance and workers' compensation, or a freeze forecast before you decide when to blow out the lines. A drafted estimate or reply still needs your review before the customer sees it. Ask each vendor for its terms before customer details go in, including its rules on call recording and texting. FAQ
What are the best AI tools for irrigation and sprinkler companies? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the eight by task, and the table gives each price as the vendor shows it.
What is the best software for a sprinkler repair or irrigation installation business? IrrigationBossPro, Smart Service and FieldCentral are written for irrigation work, and Housecall Pro, Jobber and QuoteIQ have irrigation pages. We ran none of them, so try one on a week of jobs you have already booked.
How much does irrigation business software cost? Entry prices shown: QuoteIQ 29.99 a month, Jobber 49, IrrigationBossPro 59, NiceJob 75, Housecall Pro 79, Smart Service 129 per user with 5 users minimum, FieldCentral 277 for 1 to 2 users. Wanna starts free, then 20. Add-ons, extra users, texts and setup fees can raise the bill.
Can software remind my customers to book a spring sprinkler start-up and a fall winterization? IrrigationBossPro lists an automatic start-up reminder and Smart Service lists start-up and blowout reminders. QuoteIQ describes a campaign for each season, and NiceJob's Repeats sends rebooking reminders timed from the last service date on its Pro plan. We did not test any of them. Check your texting consent rules before you message old customers.
Can AI write an irrigation estimate by zone? QuoteIQ's irrigation page describes per-zone estimates from satellite measuring, and IrrigationBossPro bids with zones, heads, valves and backflow devices as line items. We did not test either, and a measure from the air still needs a walk of the property.
Can AI answer my sprinkler company's phone while I am on a job? Jobber's Receptionist add-on is 29 a month. Housecall Pro lists CSR AI with no price on the page, and QuoteIQ's Virtual Call Team is billed in credits. We ran none of them, so test one on your own call types, including a caller with water coming up in a yard.
Can software keep backflow test records and due dates? IrrigationBossPro lists test readings, pass or fail results and annual due dates with reminders, and Smart Service lists annual backflow test recurrence. A licensed tester still signs the test where the law asks for one.
Can AI write posts and offers for my irrigation business? Wanna drafts posts, ads and letters and waits for your OK before anything goes out. Jobber's Marketing Suite add-on is 99 a month, and NiceJob's Broadcasts email campaigns start at its Pro plan. We did not test any of them. Check any price, date or claim about a job before it is published.
Do I need estimating and scheduling software if I use Wanna? Yes. Wanna does not write an estimate, schedule a crew or take payments.
Is Wanna software for irrigation companies? No. It helps an owner choose and draft the next marketing task. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
