8 AI tools for hardscaping contractors

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 20 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are US dollars and change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. A hardscaping job is a large estimate with a long gap before the customer says yes. If you run one to three crews on patios, walkways and retaining walls, the work splits five ways: turning a site into paver, base and wall quantities, sending a proposal and chasing it, answering the phone while you are on a compactor, scheduling crews and deposits, and asking for the review once the joints are sanded. Eano, LMN, QuoteIQ and ScopeTakeoff have pages that talk about hardscape work. Jobber is general field service software. Goodcall answers calls, NiceJob asks for reviews, and Wanna chooses what to post and offer this week and drafts it for your OK. The eight are alphabetical, not scored.

How we chose

Each vendor's own pages describe work a hardscaping company does, or are for a general tool one could use. Prices were read on each vendor's own pricing page on 20 Oct 2026, with the billing term the page gives. We read pages and ran none of these tools except Wanna.

By job

Takeoff and estimate: Eano, LMN, ScopeTakeoff and QuoteIQ describe it for hardscape; Jobber and Goodcall do not, so with Jobber you set your own price per square foot. QuoteIQ's MapMeasure Pro measures from the air, from Beginner. Following up an estimate that has not been signed: Jobber lists automated quote follow-ups from Connect and a Pipeline add-on to track open quotes, and QuoteIQ lists email and text automation from Pro. Deposits and e-signature: Eano lists both on its hardscape page, and QuoteIQ lists e-signatures from Beginner. Scheduling: Eano, QuoteIQ and Jobber; ScopeTakeoff covers estimates and proposals only. Missed calls: Goodcall, Jobber's Receptionist, or QuoteIQ's AI Virtual Call Team. Review requests: NiceJob. Local posts and offers: Jobber's Marketing Suite, NiceJob's Social Sharing and Broadcasts, and Wanna; Wanna works from your website and needs no job software. Related: construction companies and local service businesses.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts. Posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page at 03:22 UTC on 20 Oct 2026: 4 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 27 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside. We have no hardscaping results to show. Wanna does not measure a patio, price a wall, send a proposal, schedule a crew, bill a job or answer a call.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. An area measured from a satellite image or a plan does not replace a walk of the site: grade, drainage, access, soil and what is under the dig. No software replaces an engineer for a wall that needs one; QuoteIQ's own hardscaping page says many states require a stamped drawing for taller walls. Nor does it replace the permit your city asks for, a utility locate before you dig, your material supplier's spec for base and joint sand, your liability insurance and workers' compensation, or the contractor license your state requires. A drafted proposal or reply still needs your review before the customer sees it. See the limits of a self-running company.

FAQ

What are the best AI tools for hardscaping contractors? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the eight by task, and the table gives each price as the vendor shows it.

What is the best estimating software for pavers and retaining walls? Eano, LMN, QuoteIQ and ScopeTakeoff each have pages describing patio, paver or wall work. They differ in price: from 25 a month for Eano's Estimator to 297 for LMN, with ScopeTakeoff at 100 per person. We ran none of them, so price one job you have already built and compare the numbers.

How much does hardscaping software cost? Entry prices shown: Eano Estimator 25 billed yearly, QuoteIQ 29.99, Jobber 49, NiceJob 75, Goodcall 79, ScopeTakeoff 100, LMN 297. Wanna starts free, then 20. Add-ons, extra users, signed-proposal fees and annual terms change the bill.

Can AI measure a patio or retaining wall for an estimate? QuoteIQ's MapMeasure Pro measures areas from satellite imagery, from its Beginner plan, and Eano says it generates estimates from site scope and measurements. ScopeTakeoff works from a plan PDF or measurements you enter. We did not test any of them, and a wall's height and footing still need checking on site.

Can software follow up my unsigned patio estimates? Jobber lists automated quote follow-ups from Connect (139 a month) and a Pipeline add-on at 49 a month to track open quotes, and QuoteIQ lists email and text automation from Pro. We ran neither, so test one on a quote you have already sent.

Can AI answer my phone while I am on a job? Goodcall is built for it, from 79 a month. Jobber and QuoteIQ list an AI that answers calls too. We ran none of them, so test one on your own call types, including a caller who wants a price over the phone.

Can AI send review requests to my hardscaping customers? NiceJob lists review requests by text and email from 75 a month. Wanna does not send review requests.

Can AI write posts and offers for my hardscaping business? Wanna drafts posts, ads and letters and waits for your OK before anything goes out. Jobber's Marketing Suite and NiceJob's Social Sharing and Broadcasts do part of this too. We did not test any of them. Check any price, date or claim about a job before it is published.

Do I need estimating and scheduling software if I use Wanna? Yes. Wanna does not estimate a job, schedule a crew or take payments.

Is Wanna software for hardscaping contractors? No. It helps an owner choose and draft the next marketing task. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
