Wanna / AI tools for garage door companies
8 AI tools for garage door companies
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 20 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are US dollars and change; open each link before you decide.
Short answer. If you own a garage door repair and install company with one to five vans, the office work splits four ways: running the schedule and the quotes, answering the phone when a spring breaks and you are under a door, asking for reviews, and getting in front of new customers. Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuoteIQ, Smart Service and Workiz are job software and each has a page written for garage door companies. Goodcall answers calls. NiceJob asks for reviews. Wanna sits in a different place: it chooses what to post and offer this week and drafts it for your OK, and it does none of the other jobs. The eight are alphabetical, not scored.
How we chose
Each vendor has a page that describes work a garage door company does, or is a general tool one could use. Prices were read on each vendor's own pricing page on 20 Oct 2026, with the billing term the page gives. We read pages and ran none of these tools except Wanna.
The eight
| Tool | What it does | Price, read 20 Oct 2026 | Honest minus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Goodcall | An AI phone agent, billed by unique customers (one phone number counted once a month), not minutes | Starter 79 a month, 100 customers, then 79 cents each. Growth 129, 500, then 26 cents. Scale 299, 2,000, then 15 cents. Free demo agent; you pay when you connect a number | It answers calls and can book them; it holds no quotes or invoices |
| Housecall Pro | Field service software: estimates, price book, scheduling with route map, invoices; its garage door page also lists recurring tune-ups. A CSR AI add-on answers calls and chats | Basic 79 a month, or 59 billed yearly, 1 user. Essentials 189 (149 yearly), 5 users. Max 329 (299), 8 users, 35 for each extra. 14-day trial, no card | Add-on prices, CSR AI included, are not shown. Low intro offers (1 to 3 months) sit beside the list prices |
| Jobber | Quotes with optional add-ons, scheduling, invoices, client portal; its garage door page lists custom checklists. Add-ons include an AI Receptionist and a Marketing Suite | Core 49 a month with no commitment, 29 billed yearly, 1 user. Connect 139 (99 yearly), or 199 (149) for 5 users. Grow 199 (149), or 299 (229) for 5 users. Extra users 29. Receptionist 29, Marketing Suite 99, Pipeline 49. 14-day trial, no card. A new-customer discount runs until 30 Oct | Add-ons raise the monthly bill, and Reviews shows no price |

Pro 125. 14-day trial, no contract | Reviews, reminders, referrals and email campaigns; no quotes, no calendar, no invoices, no calls |
| QuoteIQ | Estimates, scheduling, invoices, online payments; an estimate generator and an AI call team on every plan. Its garage door page lists opener upsells on quotes and a board for commercial door bids | Essentials 29.99 a month, 1 user, 500 AI credits. Beginner 99.99, 2 users. Pro 199.99, 4 users. Elite 299.99, 10 users. Max 699.99, 20 users. Extra users 25. 14-day trial, card required | Dispatching and route optimization start at Elite, 299.99. Its garage door page prints 74.99 and 149.99 for Beginner and Pro; the pricing page says 99.99 and 199.99. The credit cost of a call or an estimate is not stated. We did not test its AI |
| Smart Service | Field service software for QuickBooks users, with a garage door page: same-day spring and cable calls, tune-up plans that renew, commercial routes, several doors per customer record. Lists an AI dispatch board and AI reporting | From 129.99 per user a month, 3 users minimum, so about 390 a month at the minimum; discounted when billed annually; the final number is a written quote. Free live demo; no trial stated | Built for teams: the three-user minimum is more than a one-van shop needs. The price is a quote after a demo. We did not see what its AI features do |
| Workiz | Field service software with a garage door page: scheduling and dispatch, inventory, automations, sales proposals, payments. AI phone and answering are add-ons | Standard, Pro and Ultimate show "Request pricing". 7-day trial, no card | No price to compare without a call. AI answering (Genius Answering) is sold separately, price not shown. Automations are capped by plan: 5, 10 or 30. Its garage door page names no feature built only for garage doors |
| Wanna | Reads your site, proposes the week's tasks, drafts posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK | Free: 100 credits after setup, about 10 tasks. Starter 20 a month, 200 credits, about one task a day. Growth 49, 5,000 credits. Scale 149, up to 5 companies. Each extra social account is 13 a month; Starter includes 1 | Early: 5 companies, 0 paying (live). Not garage door software: no quotes, dispatch, booking, calls or review requests, and no garage door case study |
By job
Schedule and quotes: Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuoteIQ, Smart Service and Workiz each list scheduling, estimates and invoices on a garage door page. Smart Service goes furthest on commercial routes and tune-up plans, at the highest entry price; Jobber and Housecall Pro publish the clearest prices for a small crew. Missed calls: Goodcall; the Receptionist add-on from Jobber (29 a month); Housecall Pro's CSR AI add-on; Workiz's Genius Answering, sold separately; or QuoteIQ's Virtual Call Team, on every plan and billed in credits by the call minute. We tested none of them. Review requests: NiceJob focuses on them; QuoteIQ lists a review request when an invoice is paid. Local posts and offers: Jobber's Marketing Suite add-on builds a plan and campaigns from your Jobber data, so if you already run on Jobber it covers part of what Wanna does. Wanna works from your website and needs no job software; it drafts the next post or a slow-week offer for your OK. Related: local service businesses and social media schedulers.
What Wanna is and is not
Wanna drafts. Posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page measured at 18:28 UTC on 28 Oct 2026: 5 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 27 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside. We have no garage door results to show. Wanna does not quote a door or an opener, dispatch a van, take a booking, answer a call or request reviews.
What this list does not replace
It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. It does not replace the software that holds your schedule, customers' addresses, parts and payments; keep it and add a marketing tool beside it. It does not replace a trained technician on a spring or a cable, your insurance, or the safety rules for your work, which we did not review. Call-recording and texting consent rules in your state apply to every tool here; ask each vendor for its terms before customer details go in. See the limits of a self-running company.
