8 AI tools for fence companies

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 20 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are US dollars and change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. If you own a fence installation company with one to three crews, the work splits five ways: measuring the yard and counting posts, panels and gates; sending the quote; answering the phone while you are on a ladder; asking for the review once the gate swings; and getting in front of the next customer. Fence Cloud, QuoteIQ and Visual Fence Pro are the ones that talk about fence materials and footage. Housecall Pro and Jobber are general field service software for quotes, scheduling and invoices. Goodcall answers calls, NiceJob asks for reviews, and Wanna chooses what to post and offer this week and drafts it for your OK. Fence Cloud starts at 220 a month for 1 to 3 users, the highest entry price of the eight. The eight are alphabetical, not scored.

How we chose

Each vendor's own page describes work a fence company does, or is a general tool a fence company could use. Prices were read on each vendor's own pricing page on 20 Oct 2026 between 02:25 and 02:30 UTC, with the billing term the page gives. Visual Fence Pro shows its prices on its home page, not on a separate pricing page. Fence Cloud's prices were read again on its pricing page on 29 Oct 2026. We read pages and ran none of these tools except Wanna.

By job

Measuring and material lists: Visual Fence Pro draws the line on a satellite map and counts materials, QuoteIQ's MapMeasure Pro does satellite measuring from the Beginner plan, and Fence Cloud builds the material breakdown from measurements you enter. Quotes: all three of those list quotes, and Housecall Pro and Jobber list estimates for any trade, so you would set up your own price per foot. Missed calls: Goodcall; the Receptionist add-on from Jobber (29 a month, included in Plus); Housecall Pro's CSR AI add-on; or QuoteIQ's Virtual Call Team, on every plan and billed in credits by the call minute. Review requests: NiceJob focuses on them, and Housecall Pro lists review management. Local posts and offers: Jobber's Marketing Suite, an add-on at 99 a month that Plus includes, builds a marketing plan from your Jobber data. Wanna works from your website and needs no job software; it drafts the next post or a slow-month offer for your OK. Related: local service businesses and construction companies.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts. Posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page at 02:26 UTC on 20 Oct 2026: 4 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 27 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside. We have no fence results to show. Wanna does not measure a yard, count posts, write a quote, take a booking or answer a call.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. A satellite measure or a generated material list does not replace a site visit, a utility locate before you dig, a survey of the property line, or a check of the permit and setback rules your town sets. It does not replace your contractor license, insurance, or a written contract. A drafted quote or reply still needs your review before the customer sees it. Ask each vendor for its terms before customer details go in, including its rules on call recording and texting. See the limits of a self-running company.

FAQ

What are the best AI tools for fence companies? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the eight by task, and the table gives each price as the vendor shows it.

What is the best estimating software for a fence company? Fence Cloud, QuoteIQ and Visual Fence Pro are the three that describe fence materials or footage on their own pages. Visual Fence Pro has a free plan, QuoteIQ starts at 29.99 a month, and Fence Cloud starts at 220 a month for 1 to 3 users. We ran none of them, so try one on a job you have already priced.

How much does fence company software cost? Entry prices shown: Visual Fence Pro free, QuoteIQ 29.99 a month, Jobber 49, NiceJob 75, Housecall Pro 79, Goodcall 79, Fence Cloud 220 for 1 to 3 users. Wanna starts free, then 20.

Can AI measure a fence line from a satellite photo? Visual Fence Pro and QuoteIQ list satellite measuring. We did not test either, and a measure from the air still needs checking against the yard, the gates and the slope before you quote.

Can AI answer my fence company's phone? Goodcall is built for it, from 79 a month. Jobber, Housecall Pro and QuoteIQ list an AI that answers calls too. We ran none of them, so test one on your own call types, including a caller who wants a price over the phone.

Can AI send review requests to my fence customers? NiceJob lists review requests by text and email from 75 a month, and Housecall Pro lists review management. Wanna does not send review requests.

Can AI write posts and offers for my fence business? Wanna drafts posts, ads and letters and waits for your OK before anything goes out. Jobber's Marketing Suite does similar planning from your Jobber data. We did not test either. Check any price, date or claim about a job before it is published.

Do I need quoting software if I use Wanna? Yes. Wanna does not quote a job, schedule a crew or take payments.

Is Wanna software for fence companies? No. It helps an owner choose and draft the next marketing task. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
