8 AI tools for chimney sweeps

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 29 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are US dollars and change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. If you own a chimney sweep and inspection business with one to three vans, the work splits six ways: taking the call and booking the job, running the day's stops, writing up what you found in the flue with photos, bringing last year's customers back when the next sweep is due, asking for the review, and keeping your name in front of the neighborhood. Bella FSM, Housecall Pro, Jobber, LayCor and QuoteIQ are field service software for the middle three. Goodcall answers calls, NiceJob asks for reviews and sends rebooking reminders, and Wanna chooses what to post and offer this week and drafts it for your OK. The eight are alphabetical, not scored.

How we chose

Each vendor's own pages describe work a chimney sweep does, or are for a general tool a sweep could use. Prices were read on each vendor's own pricing page on 29 Oct 2026 between 12:00 and 12:03 UTC, with the billing term the page gives. We left out tools whose pricing page shows no price, such as Workiz ("request pricing"), and tools we could not open at all. We read pages and ran none of these tools except Wanna.

The eight

ToolWhat it doesPrice, read 29 Oct 2026Honest minus
Bella FSMField service software with a chimney sweep page: scheduling and dispatch, work orders, recurring visits, quotes, invoices and card payments. The chimney page lists photo inspection reports for Level 1, 2 and 3 and reminders for the next annual sweepBase 35 a month, 1 user. Each extra user 10 a month and each add-on 10 a month (eSignature, Customer Portal, Advanced Inventory, QuickBooks Integration, Equipment Tracking, File Attachments). No term commitment. 14-day free trial, no cardThe pricing page is headed "limited-time discount pricing", so check the price at checkout. File Attachments, where images go, is a paid add-on, and we could not tell whether the photo reports need it. We saw no call answering or marketing on its pricing page
GoodcallAn AI phone agent that answers your calls and is billed by the number of different customers it serves, not by minutesStarter 79 a month for 100 unique customers, then 79 cents each. Growth 129 for 500, then 26 cents. Scale 299 for 2,000, then 15 cents. A free demo agent; you pay when you connect a numberIt answers calls and can take messages and book; it holds no inspection reports, quotes or invoices. Months with more new callers raise the bill
Housecall ProField service software with a chimney sweep page: scheduling and dispatch, online booking, estimates, a price book, invoices and payments. Essentials lists photo reports with annotations and routes. AI answering is an add-on called CSR AIBasic 79 a month (59 billed annually), 1 user. Essentials 189 (149 annually), 5 users. Max 329 (299 annually), 8 users, 35 a month for each extra user. Max is sold by demo. 14-day trial, no card. CSR AI: no price on the pageRecurring service plans and route optimization are listed under Max, not Basic or Essentials. Low intro offers (1 to 3 months) sit beside the list prices. Entry plan covers 1 user, so a second van's tech means Essentials
JobberField service software with a chimney sweep page: online booking, scheduling, quotes with site photos, invoices and online payments, plus a website on Core. Its chimney page suggests offering annual fireplace inspections as add-ons in a quote. Connect adds automated client reminders and job checklistsCore 49 a month, 1 user (29 billed annually). Connect 139 (99 annually). Grow 199 (149 annually). Add-ons on top of the plan: Marketing Suite 99 a month, AI Receptionist 29, Pipeline 49. Savings offers end 30 Oct 2026. Add-ons such as Dispatch and Routes 15 a month (7.50 on Professional). 14-day trial, no cardThe pricing page does not say which plan carries the inspection records and annual reminders its chimney page describes, and texting on Starter runs through your own Twilio account. Add-ons raise the bill
NiceJobReview requests by text and email, review widgets for your site, auto-posting of reviews to social, and on Pro, Repeats: rebooking reminders by text and email based on the last service dateStarter 75 a month. Pro 125, adds Repeats, referrals, AI-written review replies and Broadcasts (email campaigns with AI-written copy). Prices shown billed monthly; yearly billing saves 2 months. 14-day free trialThe AI features draw on credits that reset each month and do not roll over; the call-answering feature uses credits per call minute. Inspection reports, inspection PDFs and photo annotations start at Beginner (99.99), not Essentials
WannaReads your site, proposes the week's tasks, drafts posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OKFree: 100 credits after setup, about 10 tasks, and daily task credits while you use the free plan with a confirmed email. Starter 20 a month, 200 credits, about 20 tasks. Growth 49, 5,000 credits, about 500 tasks. Scale 149, up to 5 companies, 16,000 credits. Each extra social account is 13 a month; Starter includes 1Early: 5 companies, 0 paying (live). Not chimney software: no scheduling, inspection reports, quotes, reminders or call answering, and no chimney case study

Of the seven tools that are not Wanna, the first paid plan billed monthly runs from 29.99 (QuoteIQ Essentials) to 79 (Housecall Pro Basic and Goodcall Starter). These buy different things, so do not read it as a ranking.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts. Posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page at 12:01 UTC on 29 Oct 2026: 5 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 27 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside. We have no chimney results to show. Wanna does not book a job, write an inspection report, send a reminder for the next sweep, schedule a van or answer a call.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. A software report does not replace the inspection itself, a qualified sweep's judgment about a flue, or the codes and report formats your locality and insurer ask for. No tool replaces your certifications, license and insurance, or safe work on a roof. A drafted reply, offer or safety claim still needs your review before a customer sees it. Ask each vendor for its terms before customer details go in, including its rules on call recording and texting. See the limits of a self-running company.

FAQ

What is the best software for a chimney sweep business? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the eight by task, and the table gives each price as the vendor shows it. Bella FSM, Housecall Pro, Jobber and LayCor each have a page for chimney sweeps; we ran none of them, so try one on a week of real stops.

How much does chimney sweep software cost? Among the seven non-Wanna tools, the first paid plan billed monthly runs from 29.99 a month (QuoteIQ) to 79 (Housecall Pro and Goodcall). Several bill less on an annual term, and add-ons, extra users and AI credits change the total.

Is there software that makes chimney inspection reports with photos? Bella FSM and LayCor describe photo inspection records on their chimney pages, Housecall Pro lists photo reports with annotations on Essentials, and QuoteIQ lists inspection reports and inspection PDFs from Beginner. We did not test any of them, so check that the report matches what your insurer or customer expects.

How do I remind customers when their annual sweep is due? Bella FSM and LayCor describe annual reminders on their chimney pages. Jobber Connect lists automated client reminders, and NiceJob Pro sends rebooking reminders based on the last service date. Wanna does not send them.

Can AI answer my chimney sweep business phone while I am on a roof? Goodcall is built for it, from 79 a month. Jobber, Housecall Pro and QuoteIQ list AI call answering inside their plans or add-ons. We ran none of them, so test one on your own call types, including a caller who asks what a sweep costs.

Can AI send review requests to my chimney customers? NiceJob lists review requests by text and email from 75 a month. Wanna does not send review requests.

Can AI write posts and offers for my chimney sweep business? Wanna drafts posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). Jobber's Marketing Suite and NiceJob's Social Sharing and Broadcasts also cover marketing. We did not test any of them on a chimney business. Check any price, safety or code claim before it is published.

Do I need job software if I use Wanna? Yes. Wanna does not book jobs, schedule vans, write inspection reports or take payments.

Is Wanna chimney sweep software? No. It helps an owner choose and draft the next marketing task. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
