7 AI tools for appliance repair businesses

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 22 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are US dollars and change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. If you own an appliance repair company with one to five technicians, the office work splits four ways: quoting and invoicing after a diagnosis, scheduling and dispatching, answering the phone while you are inside someone's kitchen, and getting new customers. Five of the seven tools below are field service software with a page written for appliance repair: Housecall Pro, Jobber, Service Fusion, ServiceM8 and Workiz. Goodcall answers calls. Wanna sits in a different place: it chooses what to post and offer this week and drafts it for your OK, and it does none of the other jobs. The seven are alphabetical, not scored.

How we chose

Each vendor has a page that describes work an appliance repair company does, or is a tool one could use on the phone or marketing side. Prices were read on each vendor's own pricing page on 22 Oct 2026, with the billing term the page gives; Jobber's pricing page and Wanna's own pages were read again on 29 Oct 2026. We read pages and ran none of these tools except Wanna.

By job

Quote, schedule and invoice a repair: Housecall Pro, Jobber, Service Fusion, ServiceM8 and Workiz each have a page for appliance repair. Among the five field service tools, ServiceM8 (0 to 149) and Jobber (29 to 49 for one user) show the lowest entry lines; Housecall Pro starts at 59. Check that the plan you need holds what you use: Housecall Pro's routes and flat-rate pricing start at 149, and Workiz lists purchase orders and inventory only on its top plan. Parts on back order: Workiz is the one whose appliance page says it tracks them against purchase orders; the others' appliance pages do not mention it, so ask before you rely on it. Missed calls: Goodcall from 79 a month, or the call features from Housecall Pro (CSR AI), Jobber (Receptionist, 29 a month), Service Fusion (ServiceCall.ai) and Workiz (Genius AI Answering); only Jobber shows a price for it on the page we read, and we tested none. Local posts and offers: Jobber's Marketing Suite add-on (99 a month) builds a marketing plan around your business, so if you already run on Jobber it overlaps with part of what Wanna does. Wanna works from your website and needs no job software; it drafts the next post or a slow-week offer for your OK. Related: local service businesses and social media schedulers.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts. Posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page measured at 20:48 UTC on 29 Oct 2026: 5 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 27 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside. We have no appliance repair results to show. Wanna does not diagnose a fault, quote a repair, order a part, dispatch a technician, take a payment, answer a call or request reviews.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial or demo: we read pages, not products. It does not replace the software that holds your customers' addresses, appliance records, parts and payments; keep it and add a marketing tool beside it. It does not replace a qualified technician's judgment on a repair, your state's licensing, your insurance, or the manufacturers' warranty and refrigerant-handling rules, which we did not review. Call-recording and texting consent rules in your state apply to every tool here; ask each vendor for its terms before customer details go in. See the limits of a self-running company.

FAQ

What is the best software for an appliance repair business? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the seven by task, and the table gives each price as the vendor shows it.

What software do appliance repair companies use for quotes and invoices? Housecall Pro, Jobber, Service Fusion, ServiceM8 and Workiz each have an appliance repair page that lists quoting or estimates and invoicing. Compare the plan that holds the features you need, not the entry line.

How much does appliance repair software cost? Entry prices shown: ServiceM8 0 (29 for 50 jobs a month), Jobber 49 a month (29 billed annually), Housecall Pro 79 (59 yearly), Service Fusion 245 (208 yearly). Workiz shows no price. Wanna starts free, then 20.

Can AI answer my appliance repair phone while I am on a job? Goodcall is an AI phone agent from 79 a month. Housecall Pro, Jobber, Service Fusion and Workiz each list an AI call feature; Jobber's Receptionist add-on shows 29 a month and the other three show no price on the page we read. We ran none of them. Test one on your own call types before you rely on it.

Can AI track a part on back order? Workiz's appliance page says it links purchase orders and tracking to the job. We found no such line on the other four appliance pages. Wanna does not track parts.

Can AI write posts and offers for my appliance repair business? Wanna drafts posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK, and letters go out only after you turn sending on. Jobber's Marketing Suite add-on (99 a month) does similar planning inside Jobber; we did not test either. Check any price, date or claim about a job before it is published.

Is Wanna software for appliance repair? No. It helps an owner choose and draft the next marketing task. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
