Wanna / Zapier Agents review

Zapier Agents review 2026: what it does and how activities are counted

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna in this list is our product, so read its row with that in mind. Prices change, so open each link before you decide.

Short answer. Zapier Agents lets you describe a job in plain language and have an AI agent do it inside the apps you already connect to Zapier. It fits a small team that already lives in Zapier and wants an agent for lookups, drafts and routing. Usage is counted in "activities," and one outside review says loops can multiply that count.

How we chose what to look at

  • What Zapier says about itself on Zapier Agents and the Agents tab of the pricing page on zapier.com, read on 17 Oct 2026.
  • One outside review, with its date: The Rundown, which says its pricing was checked on 28 Aug 2026. The Rundown sells its own course, so it is not a neutral party. We read only this one.
  • We did not run Zapier Agents ourselves. This is the biggest limit of this page.

What Zapier Agents does

Zapier describes agents that act across 9,000+ apps, browse the web and look things up in a knowledge source you give them. Its own FAQ says agents are not deterministic, that they act only in apps you have connected, and that some Enterprise restrictions are not supported.

What reviewers say goes wrong

The Rundown reports a cap of 10 activities per run on Free and 40 on Pro, and that testing counts against your allowance on Free only. It says the agent's browser cannot sign in to sites, knowledge sources resync every 24 hours with a 75,000-record limit, and a loop can multiply usage fast. It also reports that at the monthly cap the agent's actions stop.

Zapier's own pricing page says an activity covers agent actions, browsing and knowledge lookups, so a single job can use several.

Where it fits a small team

Use Zapier Agents when the problem is a named job in apps you already connect, such as drafting a reply from a CRM record, and someone reads the result. Start on Free, watch how many activities one job uses, and only then go to Pro. Look elsewhere if you need an agent to sign in to a site that has no connector.

If your problem is "what should my company do this week," that is a different job, and it is the one Wanna is built for. See how to choose an AI that runs your company, AI CEO vs a co-founder or an agent and AI CEO vs an operations manager.

What Zapier Agents does not replace

Zapier Agents does not replace a person who reads what it drafts before a customer sees it, or a developer for production software. Wanna does not replace those either, and it does not replace Zapier Agents for work inside your connected apps.

FAQ

Is Zapier Agents worth it for a small business? It can be, if you already use Zapier and someone checks the results. Zapier's own FAQ says agents are not deterministic, so test on the free allowance first.

How much is Zapier Agents? On 17 Oct 2026 Zapier listed Free with 400 activities each month and Pro with 1,500 activities at $400 billed by the year. Enterprise is custom.

Does Zapier Agents have a free plan? Yes, on the day we checked: 400 activities each month.

What counts as an activity? Zapier's pricing page lists agent actions, browsing and knowledge lookups. A team account shares one pool.

Can Zapier Agents run my company for me? Not on this evidence. It does jobs you describe in connected apps; we found no source showing it decides what a company should do next.
