Wanna / n8n AI agents review
n8n AI agents review 2026: what it builds and what it costs
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna in this list is our product, so read its row with that in mind. Prices change, so open each link before you decide.
Short answer. n8n is a workflow builder where you wire apps, code and AI models together, including AI agents, on a canvas. It fits a team with a technical person who wants control and can host or maintain what they build. An outside review calls the learning curve steep and says self-hosting means you own uptime, upgrades and backups.
How we chose what to look at
- What n8n says about itself on its home page and the pricing page on n8n.io, read on 17 Oct 2026. Prices there are in euros, billed annually.
- One outside review, with its date: Jet Admin, published 30 Sep 2026. It is research-based, not hands-on, and Jet Admin sells software in an adjacent space. We read only this one.
- We did not run n8n ourselves. This is the biggest limit of this page.
What n8n does
n8n gives you a canvas where each step is a node: an app, a piece of code or an AI model. Its pricing page says you pay for full executions, not for each step, and that every plan has unlimited users and workflows. It also offers a Community Edition you can host yourself.

What reviewers say goes wrong
Jet Admin cites a G2 rating of 4.7 from 290+ reviews and a Trustpilot rating of 3.2. It says the learning curve is steep because you must understand webhooks, API authentication and JSON. It adds that self-hosting makes you responsible for uptime, upgrades and backups, that the open-source edition has community-only support, and that users report problems with scaling, version control and edge cases.
On limits, n8n's pricing page states a maximum run time of 5 minutes per execution on Starter and 40 on Pro, and Starter support is through the forum.
Where it fits a small team
Use n8n when you have someone who can build and maintain workflows, and the job is a named process connecting tools you already pay for. Start with the trial or the self-hosted edition and count executions on one real workflow before you pick a tier. Look elsewhere if nobody on the team wants to debug a failed run.
If your problem is "what should my company do this week," that is a different job, and it is the one Wanna is built for. See how to choose an AI that runs your company, approve everything or autonomous and run a company with AI agents.
What n8n does not replace
n8n does not replace a person who decides what is worth automating, someone who watches failed runs, or a lawyer who reads how your data is handled. Wanna does not replace those either, and it does not replace n8n for custom workflows between your own tools.
FAQ
Is n8n worth it for a small business? It can be if you have a technical person and a clear process to automate. One outside review calls the learning curve steep, so try one workflow before you commit.
How much is n8n? On 17 Oct 2026 n8n listed Starter at €20 for 2,500 executions and Pro at €50 for 10,000, both by the month and billed annually. Business is €667, and Enterprise is custom.
Is n8n free? Partly. n8n offers a trial without a credit card and a Community Edition you can host yourself, where you carry the hosting work.
What counts as an execution? n8n says you pay for full executions, not for each step in a workflow.
Can n8n run my company for me? Not on this evidence. It runs the workflows you build; we found no source showing it decides what a company should do next.
