Being under-funded helps you

Sivers says startups with too much money often blow it, and that being under-funded keeps you from making mistakes. He recalls keeping a plain table at dot-com era conferences while other booths spent heavily, and says that when investors pressed him to take venture money, his answer was that his company was profitable and had plenty of cash.
