Can I use my Claude Code subscription to run marketing for my small business?

Wanna / Claude Code for small business marketing

Short answer. Yes, through Wanna: you link Claude Code on your own computer, and the model work of your marketing tasks then runs on your Claude plan instead of Wanna's credits. Claude Code alone does not plan or post your marketing, so Wanna supplies the team, the plan and the approvals, and your plan supplies the model.

The steps, as the product does them today

Add an account sits inside a company in Wanna. If you have no company yet, do step 3 first.

  1. Add an account. In Capacity, press Add an account, choose "Claude Code on my machine" and give the account a label. The label is a name for you, not a login. Wanna refuses a label that looks like a password, key or token.
  2. Link with a one-time code. Wanna shows a code that looks like WN-XXX-XXX. It works once, for 15 minutes, and only tells Wanna which company the machine works for. You run one command in a terminal on your computer, with Claude Code installed from Anthropic. You then sign in to Claude on that machine yourself, on Anthropic's own page. Wanna asks for no password, key or token and keeps none.
  3. Give a site or an idea. On the start page paste your website, or choose "No website? Tell us what you do" and describe the business.
  4. The team makes your first month. The sample run on our start page, a bakery's site from 22 Oct 2026, came back with a goal of 10 quiet-day bookings in 30 days, 7 posts, 15 nearby businesses to reach and an offer for its quiet days. Your result will differ. The first post on each network waits for your OK, and sending letters stays off until you turn it on.
  5. Watch the Pulse. In Wanna OS the Pulse line leads with each connected account: how much of your Claude week is used, the current window, when each resets, the sessions running and the hours worked. Until your computer reports a number, the line says "not reported" rather than guessing.

What runs on your plan and what does not

Your plan covers the AI model work of your company's tasks while your linked computer is online. Wanna's own part stays on Wanna: the team and its tasks, connectors, search, images and video. If your computer is offline, you choose in Capacity whether tasks wait for it or run on Wanna credits.

If your Claude plan reaches its limit, the task that was running on it does not finish, and Wanna does not move it to its own machines on its own. You run it again when your plan has room, or remove the account.

What Wanna sees

Each task starts Claude Code in a new empty folder with no tools, no memory and no history. Wanna does not see your past chats, projects or files, and these tasks do not go into your Claude history. Wanna keeps the tasks it sent, the answers and your computer's name. You can remove the account in Settings at any time.

How much of this is proven

Not much yet. On 31 Oct 2026 Wanna's records showed 2 Claude Code accounts linked in total and no task recorded as run on a linked computer. Wanna's live page showed 0 paying companies. We print no result and no hours saved.

What this does not do

  • It does not run Wanna from inside Claude. There is no Claude-side connection today. The link works one way: Wanna sends tasks to your computer.
  • It does not make a subscription unlimited. Wanna's own screen warns that plans assume ordinary, individual use, and heavy all-day work fits a Team or Enterprise plan better.
  • It does not replace you. You still decide what the company says, approve posts and spend, and read Anthropic's current terms for your plan.

FAQ

Can I use my Claude Code subscription to run marketing for my small business? Yes, through Wanna. Link Claude Code, and the model work of your marketing tasks runs on your plan; Wanna plans the work and drafts the posts for your OK.

Does Wanna ask for my Claude password or key? No. You sign in on your own computer, on Anthropic's page. The code Wanna gives you is its own, works once and expires in 15 minutes.

Can Wanna read my Claude Code chats and projects? No. Each task starts in a new empty folder with no tools, memory or history.

What happens when my Claude plan hits its limit? The running task fails and is not moved to Wanna's machines by itself. Run it again when your plan has room, or remove the account.

Do I need a paid Wanna plan to link my own Claude plan? Linking is offered on every plan, according to Wanna's pricing page on 31 Oct 2026. The page also lists what each plan covers.
