Short answer. Paste the link of the site you like into the "Clone a business" field on Wanna and press "Clone it". Wanna studies the site and how the business works, builds your own version, and puts an AI team on it. The version is built for your business, so give it your own name, logo and images.

The steps on the live screen

This is the screen at /hello?clone=1 as read on 31 Oct 2026.

  1. Open the clone door. The page headline is "Clone a business." and the line under it says: "Paste the link of a business you like. Wanna studies its site and how it works, builds your own version, and puts a team on it."
  2. Paste the link. There is one field for the address and one button, "Clone it".
  3. Own site instead. A link below the button, "I have my own website", switches the same field to your own company's link.
  4. Free to start. The page states: "Free. No card. Nothing is posted without you."
  5. Confirm your email. On the standard /hello flow you get a one-time code that works for 30 minutes before your company opens.
  6. Pick a first task. On the standard flow the team proposes three tasks and you pick one. You start with 100 credits, enough for 10 actions.
  7. Approve what comes back. Drafts land in a "Waiting on you" list. You edit, approve or drop them.

We did not run a full clone to the end for this page, and we have no result figures to show, so we state none. Steps 5 to 7 are taken from the standard /hello and /product pages, read the same day.

What is different from a front-end copy

A tool that saves a site's look gives you pages. A business is more than pages: an offer, the customers it serves, the channels that reach them, and a weekly routine. Wanna's clone door is aimed at that second thing. Its own words are "studies its site and how it works." We have not compared it with other tools on a test set, so we make no claim about who does it better.

What to keep your own

  • Text. Write your words from facts about your business, not pasted from the original.
  • Images, logo and name. Use your own images, logo and name.
  • Anything protected. Trademarks, copyright and unfair competition rules differ by country.

A close twin of another firm is a legal risk and weak marketing too, since customers cannot tell which one is which. Copy the pattern, not the surface.

What this does not replace

  • A lawyer. If your plan sits close to an existing firm, ask a qualified person before you launch.
  • Your own judgment. A model that works for someone else, in their town, with their history, may not work for you. An AI reading a site cannot see their costs or their customers.
  • You, for money and anything irreversible. Nothing is posted without your OK.

FAQ

Can AI clone a website from just a URL? Yes, in the sense that you paste one link and Wanna starts from it. It studies the site and how the business works, then builds your own version rather than a pixel copy.

Is it legal to clone a website? Ideas and ways of working are generally free to use; names, logos, text and images are not. Use your own names, logos, text and images. Ask a lawyer about your case.

Do I need to code or use Claude Code? On the clone screen you paste a link and press a button. We saw no code step on that screen.

Does it cost anything to try? The page says: "Free. No card. Nothing is posted without you."

Can I use it for my own site instead? Yes. "I have my own website" on the same screen switches the field to your own link.

Paste your link and see what Wanna builds from a business you like, free and with nothing posted without you.
