Wanna / AI posts on Google Business Profile

Can AI post on my Google Business Profile every week for my local business?

Short answer. Yes, if you connect a scheduling tool to your profile: it writes the posts and publishes them on a schedule, and many of these tools let you approve each draft first. Wanna drafts the weekly posts for your OK and does not post to your Google Business Profile itself, so you paste the ones you want into the profile yourself.

What "every week without me" needs

Publishing to a Google profile takes a tool that you have connected to your Google account and that is allowed to write to the profile. An AI chat on its own cannot do that. This is why the answers we read on 25 Oct 2026 disagreed: three of four said yes, with a tool that you connect, and one said no, because an assistant cannot publish for you without your confirmation. They were describing two different things.

What a connected tool does

The scheduling tools we read about on 25 Oct 2026 work in three steps:

  1. You connect your profile once.
  2. The tool writes a post from your business details and, in some cases, a photo from your gallery.
  3. It publishes on a schedule, or waits for you to approve each draft by email.

Their own pages describe a weekly rhythm. One ranking page we read says a post fades from view after about a week, which is the reason given for posting weekly. We have not measured that, and most of what we found comes from the vendors' own pages.

Check these before you switch it on

  • Start with approval. For the first month, read each post before it goes out under your business name.
  • Keep the facts under your control. Your name, address, phone number, hours and categories should change only when you change them. A weekly post should never touch them.
  • Read the first three drafts for claims. Delete any offer, price, award or service you do not provide.
  • Fill in the profile first. Services, towns, hours, phone and real photos of your work. A new post does not help while the profile is half empty.
  • Check the monthly price on the tool's own page. Prices vary by tool and by number of locations, and we do not quote one here.

What Wanna does for this

You paste your link and Wanna reads your site, writes down what it understood with the page each fact came from, plans your first week and drafts posts and ad copy. Posts always wait for your OK. For Google, Wanna keeps your profile link and drafts a message that asks happy customers for a review.

Wanna does not publish to Google Business Profile. Local search and Google business profile are on our list of things to build and are not live. If you want a draft for this week, Wanna can write the text, and you copy it into your profile.

What Wanna does not do

  • It does not post to your Google Business Profile, weekly or otherwise.
  • It does not claim, fill in or run your profile.
  • It does not change your name, hours, categories or photos.
  • It does not reply to your Google reviews.
  • It does not post, spend or send anything on your behalf without your OK.

Wanna is an early product. We have no figures on what a weekly post does for calls or visits, and this page does not promise that it brings customers.
