Short answer. Partly. AI can cut a long video into clips, add captions, reframe footage, suggest hooks and write the post that goes with the Reel. It does not know your customers, and it does not film your shop or your product. A small brand gets the best result by filming a few real clips on a phone and letting AI do the cutting and captioning.

Does Instagram have AI for Reels?

Yes, mostly inside Edits, Instagram's separate editing app. Its help center has a page on restyling a video clip in an Edits project with Meta AI.
