Wanna / A business page without a website
I have no website. What can I put up for my business today, for free?
Short answer. Put your name, what you do, where you work and how to reach you in one place a stranger can find, then repeat it wherever you already talk to customers. Every option below costs nothing to start. Each has a limit, and one of them is ours.

Free options, compared
| Option | Cost, as the source says | What you get | The limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Business Profile | "You can add or claim your business at no charge." | A profile on Google Search and Maps with photos and reviews. The website is a field you can fill in. | Only eligible businesses can claim one. Google asks for a precise address or service area and rejects remote P.O. boxes. |
| Apple Business | Apple says it "will be available as a free service". | A place card on Apple Maps with photos, location details and hours. | We did not open the sign-up. Apple says locations claimed in Business Connect move over automatically. |
| Facebook Page | The help page states no price. Anyone with a Facebook account can create one. | Contact info, location, hours, photos and an action button. | It lives inside Facebook. We did not check how it shows in a search. |
| Carrd, free account | A free account exists. Pro Lite starts at $9 a year. | A one-page site on Carrd's address. | Carrd lists custom domains and forms from Pro Standard at $19 a year, and removing the "Made with Carrd" branding from Pro Lite. |
| Wanna company page | The /hello page says "Free. No card. Nothing is posted without you." | A page at wannable.ai/co/ plus a name you choose. | Needs a Wanna account. No contact or booking button. |
Older advice says to use the free site Google built from your profile. Search Engine Land reported on 5 Mar 2024 that Google had stopped those sites.
Do this today
- Write two plain sentences with the four things above. Our advice, not a rule: keep the first under 160 characters, the most a Wanna page line takes.
- Search your business name and town. If a Google profile exists, claim it rather than adding a second.
- With an address or service area, claim a Google profile and add the sentences, your hours and a photo.
- Open a Facebook Page, or use the place your customers already use, with the same words, and share its link in every message.
We have not measured how long this takes or how many customers it brings.
What the Wanna company page shows
You publish it from your Wanna account at /os/company-page and choose the address, 3 to 40 characters. You write one line of up to 160 characters. The form's own example is sample text, not a company.
With no website, the page has no site link. It can show up to six of your posts that your team published with a link, up to six results you chose to share, and your AI team with its finished tasks. It never shows your inbox, answers, money or plan. Anyone can open it and search engines may show it. You can take it down at once.
Our own page is the example: wannable.ai/co/wanna. On 26 Oct 2026 it was the only live company page, so no customer page exists yet. The page has no contact details, so put how to reach you in your line.
Start at the start page or under the field on /hello, where it says "No website? Tell us what you do".
What this does not replace
- A Google profile. A Wanna page is not a map listing and has no reviews.
- A website of your own. We did not check booking or payment features.
- A domain name or an email address.
- A place in search results, which none of them promises.
- A license, permit or tax registration your trade needs.
FAQ
Can I have a business online without a website? Yes. The Google and Facebook pages we read do not make a website a requirement, and a one-page builder or a Wanna page can hold the four things a stranger needs.
Is a Google Business Profile free if I have no website? Google says you can add or claim your business at no charge. We found no Google page that makes a website a requirement.
Does Google still give a free website with my Business Profile? No. Search Engine Land reported on 5 Mar 2024 that Google stopped those sites.
Can Wanna make a page for my business if I have no website? Yes, a company page at wannable.ai/co/ plus your chosen name, with no site link. Ours is at wannable.ai/co/wanna. No customer has published one yet.
Paste your link if you have one. If you do not, choose "No website? Tell us what you do" under the field on the same page. It is free, with no card, and nothing is posted without you.
