Wanna / Social media for food trucks without a marketer

How does a food truck owner get more customers on social media without a marketer?

Post, every day you serve, where the truck is parked, when you are open and what is on the menu; that daily post is the job nobody can take off you. What an AI can do is plan the month around it: paste your website into Wanna and it returns a 30-day plan card with a goal, 7 posts and nearby businesses to team up with, and nothing goes out until you say OK. Wanna does not post for you and does not schedule anything. Free, no card.

What the answers agree on

On 26 Oct 2026 we typed this question, word for word, into four search tools. Three of them gave advice, and it had the same shape (the fourth gave a general summary with none of these tips):

  • Say where the truck is today and when it opens, in every post. One tool also said to name the menu.
  • Post short video clips of the food and the truck, not only photos.
  • Use local tags and location tags so people nearby can find the post.
  • Keep a weekly rhythm, so regulars know when to look.

None of that needs a marketer, but it needs you, because only you know where the truck is parked today.

Which job is which

Social media for a truck is two jobs, and they are not the same size.

What Wanna does for a truck

  • Starts from your website address, not from a blank prompt.
  • Returns a 30-day plan card with a goal, 7 posts and nearby businesses to team up with.
  • Drafts the posts. Each one waits for your OK before it goes anywhere.

One example, and what it does not prove: on 22 October 2026 we recorded one run on a real bakery's website, not a truck. It was a script tapping through setup, and the bakery was never contacted. You can read the walk, including what went wrong, in the recording of a bakery's website going in. We ran one bakery once, and we have no figure for how many customers, orders or followers a plan like this brings, for a bakery or a truck.

If your truck has no website, we have not shown Wanna working from an Instagram page alone, so do not count on that.

What Wanna does not replace: the daily location post

  • The daily location post. Wanna has no scheduler and no queue where you set a time for each post, and we do not claim it posts to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or Pinterest for you. Say where you are parked, and post it yourself.
  • Your photos and your voice. A plan can say what to post. Only you know which dish came out well this morning, and only you can check that the menu, the prices and the address are right before they go out.
  • A scheduler. If you want the weekly schedule to go out at a set time, use a scheduler; see AI social media schedulers compared.
  • You at the window. It does not replace the conversations with your regulars, or with the nearby businesses it suggests you team up with.

FAQ

How does a food truck owner get more customers on social media without a marketer? Post where the truck is, when it opens and what is on the menu on every day you serve, and keep a short weekly rhythm. Wanna can plan the month from your website for your OK, but the daily location post stays with you.

Can an AI run social media for my food truck? An AI can plan the month and draft posts. Wanna does that from your website address and waits for your OK. It does not post or schedule for you, and we have not run it on a truck.

What should a food truck post every day? Where you are parked and when you are open. Three of the four search tools we asked on 26 Oct 2026 said to post that every day, and one added the menu.

Does Wanna post my location for me? No. Wanna has no scheduler and we do not claim it posts to any network for you. You post the daily location yourself.
