Wanna / AI marketing for parents who run a business
Can an AI run marketing for my small business while I look after my kids?
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 22 Oct 2026. Wanna is an AI that runs companies, so the Wanna lines below describe our own rules, read from our Trust page that day.
Short answer. Partly. An AI can do the drafting, planning and finding: it reads your site (or your one-line description, if you have no site), proposes what to post and to whom, and writes the first versions. What is left for you is a short list of yes-or-no decisions. Wanna works this way: posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and by default nothing it writes goes out as you until you say so.
What it does, and what you do
| Step | Wanna does | You do |
|---|---|---|
| Plan | Reads your site, or your one-line description if you have no site, and proposes the one or two channels that fit | Say yes, or change the plan |
| Posts and ads | Drafts each one | Approve, edit or veto each one |
| Customers | Finds people and companies that fit, with the source for each | Decide who gets a letter |
| Letters | Writes them in your words | Turn sending on once; it is off for every new company |
| Comments under your posts | In Autonomous mode, may answer one by itself | Read what it said, and switch back if it surprises you |
| Money | Asks first | Decides |
The shape of the work matters for a parent. A day with children is cut into pieces you do not control, so a tool that needs you for a long stretch does not fit. Here the work that needs you is split into single decisions: this post, this letter, this plan. Each can be answered on its own, and one you have not answered yet simply waits.
Two modes, one Stop button
Approve everything makes Wanna wait for you on every item. Autonomous asks only about money, anything unusual and risky steps. In both, a post, an application or an ad still waits for your OK, and the Stop button and your veto stay with you. The mode is one setting.
What it does not do
- It does not post as you without your OK. Posts, applications and ads always wait.
- It does not know your business better than you do. The offer, the price and the promise stay yours.
- It does not take payments for you. Your customers pay you directly, and Wanna never holds your money.
- It does not sign in to your website or change it. It reads the pages anyone can open.
What we can and cannot show you
Wanna is new, so the evidence is thin. On the Trust page, counted from Wanna's own records and last checked on 22 Oct 2026 at 06:52 UTC, there were 4 companies in Wanna OS and 18 tasks done with proof in the last 7 days. The same page shows 0 platforms connected and working at that moment, so we cannot point to a parent whose posts went out through Wanna today. We show no revenue figure because we have none, and there is no security audit report (such as SOC 2) yet.
Anna Elef, whose story started Wanna, wrote in a LinkedIn post in October: "With a baby, you get maybe 30 minutes a day." She adds that 30 minutes is enough to see how the whole company is doing and press Stop where it matters. That is her own account, not a measured result.
What an AI does not replace
An AI does not replace your judgment about your own customers, an accountant for your taxes, a lawyer for a contract or a claim in an ad, or you answering a customer who is upset. Wanna prepares the work and asks; you decide.
FAQ
Can an AI run marketing for my small business while I look after my kids? Partly. It can plan, draft, find customers and prepare letters. You approve what goes out, and you keep money, prices and promises. Wanna waits for your OK on posts, applications and ads.
How much time does it take from me? We have not measured it, so we give no number. The work is cut into single yes-or-no decisions, and anything you have not answered waits.
What happens if I do not answer for a few days? The item waits. A post, an application or an ad does not go out without your OK, and letters stay off until you turn sending on.
Will it post or write to people as me without asking? Not by default. Sending is off for every new company, and posts, applications and ads always wait. In Autonomous mode, once you turn on "Let me write outside for you", it may send first letters to people already in your Outreach, and a letter it finds risky waits for you.
Can I stop it? Yes. One Stop button stops the team, and unfinished work waits.
Do I need a website? No. If you have a site, paste your link. If not, choose "No website? Tell us what you do" and describe your business in one line.
