Wanna / Instagram and bookings AI for a small tattoo studio
What AI tool can run Instagram and bookings marketing for a small tattoo studio?
Three of the four answers we read split the job in two: one tool for bookings and deposits, another for Instagram. Wanna covers the Instagram half, as drafts you approve, and does not take bookings, deposits or DMs.
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 27 Oct 2026. Wanna is our product, so read the Wanna parts with that in mind. We have not run Wanna on a tattoo studio and we have no tattoo studio result to show.
What the AI engines named when we asked
On 26 October 2026 we typed this question, word for word, into four tools: iAsk, Andi, Gemini and a web search. Below is what each returned. We read their answers and the titles and addresses of the pages they listed; we did not open or run any of these tools, so every feature here is what the answer said, and the web search itself warned that most of it came from vendor marketing pages.
- iAsk said a combination works best. For Instagram: ChatGPT Plus for a 30-day calendar, captions and hashtags, plus Canva and CapCut for flyers and reels. For bookings and campaigns: Porter and Venue Ink.
- Gemini also said to combine tools rather than use one tool. Bookings and deposits: Square Appointments or GlossGenius, or Inkbook and DaySmart Body Art. Instagram: Later or Buffer with CapCut. Instagram DMs: ManyChat.
- The web search said nothing in its results covers the whole job on its own. It pointed to Studioflo and TattooClient as the closest to both jobs, to InkDesk, Bookink and InkBook.ai for booking and DM handling, and to PostPlanify for Instagram posts.
- Andi showed a single card from a vendor, Aismarttalk, for a chatbot that says it automates Instagram DMs and booking requests. It wrote no answer of its own.
No tool was named by more than two of the four, and Wanna was named by none.
Instagram half: what Wanna drafts from your site
Paste your studio's website address. Wanna reads it, writes down what it understood, and returns a 30-day plan card with a goal, 7 posts and nearby businesses to team up with. By default, nothing goes out until you say OK. You film and photograph the work; Wanna writes the plan and the posts around it.
This is an illustration of the format, not a post from a real studio, and it claims no result:
> Flash day, Saturday. A sheet of small pieces, first come first served. Booking link in our bio.
You would change the details, strike any line that is not true for your studio, and approve it before it goes anywhere.
If your studio has no website and only an Instagram profile, we have not shown that Wanna works from the profile alone.
Bookings half: what Wanna does not do
- Bookings. Wanna has no booking page and no calendar.
- Deposits. It takes no payment and holds no slot.
- DMs. It does not read or answer your Instagram messages. A DM about style, placement and size still goes to you or to a booking tool that handles it.
The tools above that handle bookings, deposits and DMs are the ones to look at for that half. We cannot say how well any of them works.
How the two halves fit
A booking tool takes the booking. Wanna drafts the posts that send people to it, such as the flash day line above with your booking link. They do not share data, and we have not tested the pair together on a studio. Wanna has no queue to set a time for each post, so if timing matters, keep a scheduler.
What Wanna does not replace
- Your booking tool. Bookings, deposits and reminders stay where they are.
- Your DMs. Wanna does not answer them.
- Your artists' work and eye. It cannot photograph a healed piece or choose which finished work to show.
- Your judgment on claims. Only you know whether a line about a style, an artist or availability is true. Each draft waits for your OK.
- Your aftercare and consent rules. It writes none of them.
