Jobber vs Housecall Pro for a small home-services company
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 29 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product; it appears only in the section "Where an AI team fits", not in the table. We ran neither tool. Every vendor figure below is what that vendor's own pricing page said on 29 Oct 2026, in US dollars; prices change, so open each link first.
Short answer. Both run the office side of a service business: online booking, quotes, scheduling, invoices and payments. Jobber's entry price is lower for one user: 49 a month, or 29 billed yearly, against Housecall Pro's 79 or 59. Housecall Pro lists review management and a price book on its entry plan; Jobber puts reviews in a separate add-on that shows no price. Both give 14 days free with no card, and both sell marketing and AI call answering as extras.
How we compared
- Same rows for both. A figure a page did not show is printed as "no price shown".
- Sources: Jobber and Housecall Pro, each vendor's own pricing page, read 29 Oct 2026.
- Both pages show a limited-time offer beside the list price (Jobber's ends 30 Oct 2026; Housecall Pro's runs 1 to 3 months). We print list prices only.

Who should look at which
- Just you, a smaller monthly bill: Jobber Core is 49 or 29 yearly for one user; Housecall Pro Basic is 79 or 59.
- You want reviews on the entry plan: Housecall Pro lists review management on Basic. Jobber's Reviews add-on shows no price.
- A crew of up to 5: Jobber Connect for 5 users lists 199 monthly (149 yearly); Housecall Pro Essentials lists 189 (149 yearly). Both list QuickBooks Online sync.
- 6 to 10 people: Housecall Pro Max includes 8 users and charges 35 for each extra; Jobber lists plans to 15 users. Price both with the selectors on their pages.
- Routes: Housecall Pro lists Routes on Essentials and route optimization on Max. Jobber's pricing page lists Routing for daily or weekly routes but does not show which plan includes it, so ask Jobber before you pick a plan for it.
Where an AI team fits
Neither tool decides what to post or which offer to run in a slow week. If you want that inside your job software, check Jobber's Marketing Suite and Housecall Pro's add-ons first. Wanna is a separate AI team for the marketing side: it reads your site, proposes the week's tasks and drafts posts, ads and letters that wait for your OK. It does not book jobs, send invoices or take payments, and it connects to neither Jobber nor Housecall Pro. To see the plan it would make for your company, start free. Wanna's own page shows Free for the plan and first drafts, with 100 credits after setup (about 10 tasks); Starter 20 a month for 1 company and 200 credits (about 20 tasks); Growth 49; Scale 149. Minuses: it is early. The live page, measured 29 Oct 2026, 21:30 UTC, shows 5 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 27 tasks done in 7 days and 0 things that went outside. We have no home-services results to show.
What neither replaces
Neither replaces a licensed technician, your state's contractor license and insurance, or the person who decides what to charge. Both schedule and bill the work; neither does it. Texting and call-recording consent rules apply to every feature here. This page does not replace a free trial: we read pages, not products.
