Wanna / AI tools for tree service companies

What software helps a tree service company send quotes and get customers back? 7 tools

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 20 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. For a tree crew, quotes, scheduling, crew apps and invoices live in a field-service app. Three of the seven were built for tree care (ArboStar, Arborgold, Tree Service Software), two are general home-service apps (Jobber, Housecall Pro), and Goodcall only answers the phone. Wanna does a different job: it reads your site and drafts posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK, and letters go out only after you turn sending on. A tree service loses work in four places: the estimate that sat for a week, the storm-week call nobody picked up, the finished job that never became a review, and the past customer nobody reminded about winter pruning. We read each vendor's page on 20 Oct 2026 and ran none of them, except Wanna, which we know from the inside. The seven are alphabetical, not scored.

How we chose

The vendor's own page describes at least one of the four jobs above for a crew business, or is a general tool its owner could use. A price or limit we could not read is marked as not shown. Prices are in US dollars, as read on 20 Oct 2026; each link goes to the vendor's home page. Our wider lists cover local service businesses and construction companies.

The seven

ArboStarTree care software: CRM, estimates with e-signature, scheduling, an offline crew app, tree inventory, invoicing, payments, QuickBooks sync. The home page lists early access to an AI feature it calls RAIA tree company that wants one system built for arborists, with setup done for itStarter 149 a month billed yearly (199 monthly), 1 office license and 1 crew login. Growing 249 (332), 2 licenses and 3 crew logins. Extra office license 95 (127), extra crew login 20 (27). The page says these are new-customer prices; free demoThe page does not say what RAI does; unlimited texting is free for the first 3 months only; the marketing audit that covers review automation is listed under Growing, not Starter
ArborgoldSoftware for lawn, landscape and tree care companies: CRM, estimating, drag-and-drop scheduling, route optimization, job management, invoicing and payments, crew time trackingA tree or mixed lawn and tree company that wants job costing and routesStarter 129 a month, Professional 299, Enterprise 499. The page says an annual contract is required and that monthly and annual payment options exist. Office and mobile user licenses are sold on top; their prices are not shownTree inventory mapping and sales automation are listed only in Enterprise; the page names no AI feature; user prices are not shown, so the real monthly cost for a crew is unknown until you ask
GoodcallAn AI phone agent that answers calls; it bills per customer served, not per minuteAn owner on a ladder or in a bucket who misses callsStarter 79 a month for 100 unique customers, then 79 cents each. Growth 129 for 500, then 26 cents. Scale 299 for 2,000, then 15 cents. Free demo agent; you add a number when readyThe pricing page names no trade and describes no quotes or crew schedule; a storm week with many one-time callers counts each caller, so a plan can be outgrown within a month
Housecall ProField service software with Tree care among its listed industries: scheduling and dispatch, estimates and invoicing, online booking, review management. CSR AI, which answers calls and chats, is listed as an add-onA small crew that runs jobs from a phone and a truckBasic 59 a month billed yearly (79 monthly), 1 user. Essentials 149 (189), 5 users. MAX 299 (329), 8 users, 35 for each extra user. 14-day free trial of MAX, no card. The page also shows short introductory offers; these are list pricesNo price for CSR AI on the page; automated follow-ups are a separate Pipeline add-on; cost climbs with each extra user
JobberField service software: quotes, scheduling, invoicing, client messaging. Add-ons include an AI Receptionist for calls and texts and a Marketing Suite with a marketing plan, content you approve and review requestsA small crew that wants one tool from first call to invoiceCore 29 a month billed yearly up front (49 on monthly billing), 1 user. Grow, 1 user: 149 billed yearly (199 monthly); 5 users 229 (299). Plus, which includes the three add-ons: 5 users 399 billed yearly (499 monthly), up to 15 users 529 (699). Add-ons: Marketing Suite 99 a month, Receptionist 29, Pipeline 49 (Plus and add-on prices read 21 Oct 2026). The page shows a discount of up to 40 percent ending 30 Oct; these are list prices. 14-day trial of Grow, no cardBelow Plus, the AI Receptionist, Marketing Suite and Pipeline are paid add-ons, so a crew that wants all three adds 177 a month; the tree-care quotes on its Marketing Suite page are the vendor's own customer stories, not a test we ran; per-team-size pricing
Tree Service SoftwareEstimates with online approval, scheduling with route previews, two-way texting, automated follow-ups and review requests, an AI Receptionist for missed calls, a stump estimator with AI photo assist, email campaignsA one-truck tree or stump grinding business39 a month flat, 14-day free trial, cancel anytime, no setup fee. Card processing fees still applyBuilt by a working stump grinder, so it is a small vendor; its own page says iPhone and Android apps are in development, use it in a browser today; we did not use its Jobber and Housecall Pro comparison figures
WannaReads your site, proposes the week's tasks, drafts posts, ads and letters for seasonal offers and local partners. Posts and ads always wait for your OK; letters go out only after you turn sending on (Trust)An owner looking for new customers through marketing, not for job softwareFree: 10 credits after setup, enough for one task. Starter 20 a month, 200 credits, 1 social account. Growth 49, 5,000 credits. Scale 149, up to 5 companies, 16,000 credits. Social accounts beyond the one in Starter are 13 a month eachEarly: 4 companies of people, 0 paying (live). No tree-service case study on record. It does not write a measured estimate, schedule a crew, answer calls or send review requests

By job

Quotes and crew schedules: ArboStar, Arborgold, Tree Service Software, Jobber or Housecall Pro. Missed calls: Goodcall, Jobber's AI Receptionist, Housecall Pro's CSR AI or the receptionist inside Tree Service Software. Review requests: the five field apps list them, in different plans or add-ons. Seasonal offers to past customers: Tree Service Software's email campaigns, Jobber's Marketing Suite, or Wanna for posts and ads you approve and letters it sends once you turn sending on. How we suggest you weigh any vendor: how to choose.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts; posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page, measured 01:42 UTC on 20 Oct 2026: 4 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR $0, 27 tasks done in 7 days. That is a small base. It is not job software: it does not price a removal, schedule a crew or answer a call.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. Software does not replace the site visit before a quote, a certified arborist's assessment of a tree, your contractor license, your insurance or your crew's safety training. A drafted estimate or reply still needs your review before the customer sees it. Call-recording, texting and email consent rules in your state apply to every tool here; we did not review any tool against them, so ask each vendor for its terms. Your job and billing system stays the record.

FAQ

What are the best AI tools for tree service companies? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the seven by task.

How much does software for a tree service company cost? The starting figures we read run from 20 a month (Wanna Starter) to 149 (ArboStar Starter, billed yearly). Jobber Core is 29 billed yearly up front, Tree Service Software 39, Housecall Pro Basic 59, Goodcall 79, Arborgold 129. Higher plans go up to 699 (Jobber Plus, 15 users, monthly billing), add-ons such as Jobber's Marketing Suite at 99 cost extra, and some extra users cost more. The table has each figure.

Is there software made for arborists and tree care? ArboStar and Arborgold describe tree care directly, and Tree Service Software describes tree and stump work. Housecall Pro lists Tree care among its industries. Jobber is a general field-service app.

Can AI answer my tree service phone calls? Goodcall, Jobber, Housecall Pro and Tree Service Software list an AI that answers calls or missed calls. We did not run any of them. Test one on your own call types, including a storm-damage call, before you rely on it.

Can AI write a tree removal quote? The field apps list estimate tools that build a quote from your own price list, and Tree Service Software lists a stump estimator with AI photo assist. We found no page that shows an AI pricing a removal without someone reviewing it.

Can AI get me more Google reviews? ArboStar, Housecall Pro, Jobber and Tree Service Software list review requests or review automation. We did not test any of them.

Can AI send seasonal offers to my past customers? Tree Service Software lists email campaigns and Jobber's Marketing Suite describes campaigns and a marketing plan. Wanna drafts posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK, and letters go out only after you turn sending on. We did not test any of them.

Is Wanna a tool for tree service companies? Not specifically. It helps an owner find new customers by planning the week and drafting posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
