Wanna / AI tools for septic service companies

What software helps a septic pumping company with recurring pump-outs, manifests and missed calls? 7 tools

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 20 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. A septic crew's week runs on the tank record, the route, the trip ticket or manifest, and the call from a customer whose tank is backing up. Two of the seven were built for septic (PumpDocket, SepticCycle). Four are general field-service or phone tools (Housecall Pro, Jobber, QuoteIQ, Goodcall). Wanna does a different job: it reads your site and drafts the posts, ads and letters that find new customers, for your OK. We read each vendor's pricing page on 20 Oct 2026 and ran none of them, except Wanna, which we know from the inside. The seven are alphabetical, not scored.

How we chose

The vendor's own page describes dispatch, recurring service, compliance paperwork, call answering or marketing for a small crew business. A price or limit we could not read is marked as not shown. Prices are in US dollars, as read on 20 Oct 2026; each link goes to the vendor's home page. Our wider list covers local service businesses.

It does not dispatch, keep tank records, write a manifest, answer a call or send pump-out remindersWanna is the marketing seat next to whichever job tool above you pick; it replaces none of them

By job

Dispatch and routes: PumpDocket, SepticCycle, Housecall Pro (Essentials and up), QuoteIQ (Elite), Jobber. Recurring pump-outs: PumpDocket (Team and up), SepticCycle, Housecall Pro (MAX). Trip tickets and manifests: PumpDocket (Team and up), SepticCycle. Missed calls: Goodcall, Jobber's Receptionist, Housecall Pro's CSR AI, QuoteIQ's Virtual Call Team. New customers through posts, ads and letters you approve: Wanna, or Jobber's Marketing Suite. How we suggest you weigh any vendor: how to choose.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts; posts and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page, measured 02:48 UTC on 20 Oct 2026: 4 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR $0, 27 tasks done in 7 days. That is a small base. It is not job software: it does not schedule a truck, keep a tank record or file a manifest.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. Software does not replace your state or county septic licensing, the manifest or trip ticket your regulator requires, the inspection of a tank by a licensed professional, your insurance or your driver's safety training. Compliance features here are record-keeping aids; we reviewed none of them against any state's rules, so ask each vendor which rules its forms follow. Call-recording and texting consent rules in your state apply to every phone tool. Your job and billing system stays the record.

FAQ

What are the best AI tools for septic service companies? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the seven by task.

How much does software for a septic pumping company cost? The starting figures we read run from 20 a month (Wanna Starter) to 149 (SepticCycle). Jobber Core is 29 billed yearly up front and QuoteIQ Essentials 29.99, Housecall Pro Basic 59, Goodcall 79, PumpDocket Starter 99. The top plan we read is QuoteIQ Max at 699.99 for 20 users. The table has each figure.

Is there software made for septic pumping companies? PumpDocket and SepticCycle describe septic work directly, including tank records, recurring pump-outs and trip tickets or manifests. The other tools we read are general field-service or phone tools.

Can AI answer my septic company's phone calls? Goodcall, Jobber, Housecall Pro and QuoteIQ list an AI that answers calls. We did not run any of them. Test one on your own call types, including an after-hours backup call, before you rely on it.

Can software remind customers when their tank is due for a pump-out? PumpDocket (Team and up), SepticCycle and Housecall Pro (MAX) list recurring service or recurring job templates. PumpDocket and SepticCycle also list appointment reminders. We did not test any of them.

Can AI fill in the septic manifest or trip ticket for me? PumpDocket and SepticCycle list manifest or trip ticket records. We found no page that shows an AI filling one in without someone checking it, and the paperwork is yours to get right.

Is Wanna a tool for septic companies? Not specifically. It helps an owner find new customers by planning the week and drafting posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
