7 AI tools for property managers

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. A property manager's week is rent, repairs, leases, owner statements and a stream of tenant questions. The tools below cover property management software with AI inside, tenant-facing AI for texts and calls, drafting and automation. The seven are alphabetical, not scored. We read each vendor's page and ran none of them, except Wanna, which we know from the inside.

How we chose

  • The vendor's own page describes work a manager does: accounting, maintenance, leasing, tenant messages, writing, moving data between apps.
  • A price or limit we could not read on 17 Oct 2026 is marked as not shown. Several vendors that serve this trade did not load for us, so they are not in this list.
  • Prices are in US dollars, as read that day. Each link goes to the vendor's home page.

By job

Rent, repairs and owner accounting with AI inside: AppFolio, Buildium, DoorLoop or TenantCloud. Tenant and prospect messages answered by AI: DoorLoop's receptionist agent or EliseAI. Notices, replies and summaries: Claude. Finding new owners to manage for: Wanna. Similar lists for real estate agents and local service businesses. How we suggest you weigh any vendor: how to choose.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts letters, posts and ads. Posts and ads always wait for your OK; letters go out only after you turn sending on (Trust). On the live page at 14:34 UTC on 17 Oct 2026: 3 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR $0, 19 tasks done in 7 days. That is a small base, and no property management case study is on record. It is not property management software.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. It does not replace your property management software, your trust account records or the person who reconciles them. It does not replace your review of fair housing rules in listings, ads and tenant messages, your tenant screening rules, or your state's licensing and landlord-tenant law. We did not review any vendor's terms or any of those rules.

FAQ

What are the best AI tools for property managers? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the seven by task.

How much do AI tools for property managers cost? Claude and Wanna have a 0 tier, and Buildium and TenantCloud offer a trial. AppFolio and DoorLoop price per unit: AppFolio from 1.49 a unit, DoorLoop from 2.50. Buildium and TenantCloud show a monthly price per tier. EliseAI shows no price. The table has each figure.

Can AI answer tenant calls and texts? DoorLoop's receptionist agent and EliseAI say they do. We did not run either, so test them on your own leases and policies, and decide which questions go to a person.

Can I use AI to write tenant notices? Claude can draft them. A manager still reads each notice against the lease and local law before it goes out.

Is Wanna property management software? No. It helps a management company find new owners and clients by planning the week and drafting posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.

How often is this list updated? Every 30 days, from the vendors' own pages.
