8 AI tools for pool service companies
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 18 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices change; open each link before you decide.
Short answer. A pool service company loses work in four places: the quote request nobody answered, the customer who got no offer when the season turned, the finished visit that never became a review, and the local presence nobody posted to. Pool Brain, Housecall Pro and Jobber show only part of their price, and the table says so. The eight are alphabetical, not scored. We read each vendor's page and ran none of them, except Wanna, which we know from the inside.
How we chose
The vendor's own page describes one of the four jobs above for a pool business, or is a general tool its owner could use. A price or limit we could not read on 18 Oct 2026 is marked as not shown. Prices are in US dollars, as read that day on the vendor's pricing page; each link goes to the vendor's home page. Our wider list for local service businesses covers more trades.
The eight
| Tool | What it does | Who it is for | Price and limits, read 18 Oct 2026 | Honest minus |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Buffer | Schedules posts to social channels; Google Business Profile is on its channel list. An AI Assistant is included | An owner who wants one queue for a few local accounts | Free: up to 3 channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel. Essentials 5 a month per channel (60 billed yearly). Team 10 a month per channel (120 billed yearly). These are the yearly-billed rates; monthly billing costs more, and Buffer's FAQ puts the annual discount at 20% | It posts what you give it. Its Community inbox replies to comments, including on Google Business Profile, but it does not ask for reviews or take a quote request, and it knows nothing about pools |
| Goodcall | An AI phone agent that answers calls and takes messages. It bills by the number of different customers it served, not by minutes | An owner who misses calls while in the water or on a route | Starter 79 a month for 100 unique customers, then 79 cents each. Growth 129 for 500, then 26 cents. Scale 299 for 2,000, then 15 cents. A free demo agent first; you pay when you connect a number | We read the pricing page only. Whether a quote request reaches your scheduling software is a question for the vendor |
| Housecall Pro | Field service software with a pool service page: recurring visits, routing, estimates, Google and Facebook review requests after a job, emails and postcards. CSR AI, Pipeline and Campaigns are add-ons | A pool company that runs routes from a phone and wants reviews in the same tool | Basic 59 a month billed yearly (79 monthly), 1 user. Essentials 149 (189), 5 users. Max 299 (329), 8 users, 35 for each extra user. 14-day free trial, no card. Add-ons: no price shown | The pool page does not mention AI call or chat answering, and the add-ons show no price, so the full cost is a call to sales |
| Jobber | Field service software with a pool service page: quotes with automatic follow-ups, recurring visits, client reminders, review requests and seasonal Campaigns. A receptionist feature answers calls and texts | A small crew that wants one tool from first call to invoice | Core 29 a month billed yearly (49 with no commitment), 1 user. Connect 99 (139), 1 user. Grow 149 (199), 1 user. Plus from 399 (499), 5 users. Each extra user 29. Add-ons: Marketing Suite 99, AI Receptionist 29, Pipeline 49; a Reviews add-on is named with no price. 14-day trial on Grow, no card | The pool page does not say which plan carries quote follow-ups or Campaigns, so check before you pick Core |
| NiceJob | Review requests by text and email, auto-sharing of good reviews to Facebook and X. Pro adds Repeats (rebooking reminders from each customer's last service date), email broadcasts and AI replies to reviews | An owner who wants more reviews and a way to reach past customers when the season turns | Starter 75 a month. Pro 125 a month. 14-day free trial, no contract | Built around reviews and reach-outs. Its Microsite, a reviews page, captures leads, but we found no quote request or booking feature. Seasonal reach-outs need Pro |
| Pool Brain | Pool route and service software: one-click route optimizing, chemical logging with dosing calculation, automatic invoicing by email, estimates sent from the phone that become jobs when approved | A pool company that wants routes and chemistry in one app | 65 per technician; a selector runs from 5 to 50 technicians, and the monthly total on the page was blank. Office users listed as unlimited. 30 Day Free Trial on the home page; other terms not shown | The pages we read show no review requests, no campaigns and no AI |
| Skimmer | Pool service software priced by serviced location. Getting Started has a customer portal and service reports by email. Scaling Up adds Quotes and Estimates, unlimited service texts and broadcast emails. AI Phone and Marketing Suite (automated review requests, AI-drafted replies to Google reviews, SMS and email campaigns) are add-ons | A pool company that wants quotes and a seasonal broadcast inside the service software | Getting Started 1 per location a month, from 49 (up to 49 locations). Scaling Up 2 per location a month, from 98. Getting Started texts cost 0.029 each. Add-ons on every plan: AI Phone 99 a month, Marketing Suite 150 a month. First month of Scaling Up free for new customers. Enterprise: contact sales | Quotes and unlimited texts start on Scaling Up, not Getting Started; review requests, AI review replies and campaigns are in the Marketing Suite, which adds 150 a month |
| Wanna | Reads your site, proposes the week's tasks, drafts letters, posts and ads for finding new customers and local partners. Posts and ads always wait for your OK; letters go out only after you turn sending on (Trust) | An owner looking for new customers through marketing | Free: 100 credits after setup, about 10 tasks of your whole team, plus daily task credits once you confirm your email; work pauses when credits run out. Starter 20 a month, 200 credits, 1 social account. Growth 49, 5,000 credits. Scale 149, up to 5 companies, 16,000 credits. Extra social accounts 13 a month each | Early: 4 companies, 0 paying on 27 Oct 2026 (live). It is not pool software: it does not answer calls, route a technician, log water chemistry or send a quote |
By job
Quote requests and calls: Goodcall, Skimmer's AI Phone or Jobber's receptionist; once a request arrives, Jobber, Skimmer (Scaling Up) and Pool Brain hold the quote. Seasonal opening offers: Skimmer broadcast emails or its Marketing Suite campaigns, Jobber Campaigns, NiceJob Repeats or Housecall Pro emails and postcards, all of which go to people already on your list. Review requests: NiceJob, Skimmer's Marketing Suite add-on, or the review tools in Housecall Pro and Jobber. Local posts: Buffer to schedule posts you wrote, or NiceJob to share good reviews. Finding new customers through marketing: Wanna. For queueing posts across networks, see AI social media schedulers. How we suggest you weigh any vendor: how to choose.
What Wanna is and is not
Wanna drafts; posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page, measured 05:14 UTC on 27 Oct 2026: 4 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0, 16 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things sent outside in 7 days. That is a small base. It is not pool software and does not route a technician, keep a customer's service history or test water.
What this list does not replace
It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. An AI call agent does not replace the technician who tests and balances the water, your license and insurance, or a person who calls back a customer with a green pool before a party. Chemical readings, dosing and service records stay with your service software and your technicians. A drafted offer, quote reply or post still needs your review before the customer sees it. Texting and call-recording consent rules in your state apply to every tool here; we did not review any tool against them, so ask each vendor for its terms. Your job and billing system stays the record.
FAQ
What are the best AI tools for pool service companies? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the eight by task.
How much do AI tools for pool service companies cost? Pool Brain's total, Housecall Pro's add-ons and Jobber's Reviews add-on show no price. Buffer has a free tier, and Wanna's free plan gives 100 credits after setup; Housecall Pro, Jobber, NiceJob and Pool Brain have free trials, and Skimmer's Scaling Up has a free first month. Goodcall starts at 79 a month. The table has each figure.
Can AI reply to quote requests and send spring opening offers for a pool company? Goodcall, Skimmer's AI Phone and Jobber's receptionist answer calls; Jobber follows up quotes and Skimmer sends broadcast emails or, with its Marketing Suite, SMS and email campaigns. NiceJob Pro lists Repeats and broadcasts. These reach people already on your list. We did not run any of them and found no page that shows a result for a company like yours.
Is Wanna a tool for pool service companies? Not specifically. It helps an owner find new customers by planning the week and drafting posts, ads and letters; posts and ads wait for your OK. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
