8 AI tools for a small pest control company

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 21 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list. Prices are US dollars and change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. If you own a pest control company with one to five technicians, the work that slips splits four ways: the inspection request nobody answered, the customer who got no offer when the season turned, the finished service that never became a review, and the local presence nobody posted to. Briostack and FieldRoutes are pest and lawn software that keep jobs and leads. Housecall Pro and Jobber are general field service software with AI add-ons. Goodcall answers calls, NiceJob asks for reviews and brings customers back, SocialPilot schedules posts you wrote, and Wanna chooses what to post and offer this week and drafts it for your OK. Two of the eight show no price. The eight are alphabetical, not scored.

How we chose

Each vendor's own pages describe one of the four jobs above for a pest control business, or are for a general tool its owner could use. Prices were read on each vendor's own pricing page on 21 Oct 2026 between 03:59 and 04:03 UTC, with the billing term the page gives. Wanna's own prices and live figures, and Jobber's page, were read again on 27 Oct 2026 between 02:58 and 03:00 UTC. A price we could not read is marked as not shown. We read pages and ran none of these tools except Wanna, which we know from the inside. Our wider list for local service businesses covers more trades.

The eight

BriostackPest and lawn software from a company founded by a pest control CEO. Marketing Playbooks is an add-on with email and text campaigns, including seasonal promotions and upsells. ZyraTalk, an AI answering service, takes inbound callsNot shown. The answering page says pricing depends on your business and sends you to a demoZyraTalk handles inbound calls only and makes no outbound or sales calls. Neither ZyraTalk nor Playbooks shows a price
FieldRoutesPest and lawn software: route optimization, a mobile app for techs, automated reminders, lead management and a customer payment portal. Two packages, Growth ("ideal for small businesses") and Corporate, each ending in "request pricing". The page says the monthly subscription is based on the number of active customersThe pages we read show no review requests and no AI call answering. The marketing tool is a separate product it integrates with
GoodcallAn AI phone agent that answers calls and takes messages or bookings. It is billed by the number of different customers it served, not by minutesStarter 79 a month for 100 unique customers, then 79 cents each. Growth 129 for 500, then 26 cents. Scale 299 for 2,000, then 15 cents. A free demo agent firstThe pricing page names no trade, pest control included, and does not say how a request would reach your scheduling software. Housecall ProField service software with a pest control page: one-time and recurring jobs, scheduling and routing, price book, invoices, and automated emails and postcards. Marketing Suite, AI Receptionist and Pipeline are add-onsCore 49 a month, 1 user (29 billed annually). Connect 139 (99 annually). Grow 199 (149 annually). Standard 40 (34 annually), 10 accounts, 3 users, 1,000 AI credits. Each extra account 4 a month, each extra user 5 on Standard. 14-day trial, no cardIt posts what you give it. WannaReads your site, proposes the week's tasks, drafts posts, ads and letters. Posts and ads always wait for your OK; letters go out only after you turn sending on (Trust)Read 27 Oct 2026. Free: 100 credits after setup, enough for about 10 tasks, and daily task credits while you use the free plan with a confirmed email. Starter 20 a month, 200 credits, about 20 tasks. Growth 49, 5,000 credits. Scale 149, up to 5 companies, 16,000 credits. Each extra social account 13 a month; Starter includes 1Early: 4 companies, 0 paying at 02:58 UTC on 27 Oct 2026 (live). Not pest control software: it does not answer calls, schedule routes, keep treatment records or send a technician, and it has no pest control case study

Of the five non-Wanna tools that show a price, the first paid plan billed monthly runs from 20 (SocialPilot Essentials) to 79 (Goodcall Starter and Housecall Pro Basic). These buy different things, so do not read it as a ranking.

By job

Inspection requests and calls: Goodcall, Briostack's ZyraTalk, Housecall Pro's CSR AI or Jobber's Receptionist add-on; the software in FieldRoutes and Briostack holds the lead once it arrives. Seasonal offers to people already on your list: Briostack Playbooks, NiceJob Repeats, Housecall Pro's emails and postcards, or Jobber Marketing Suite. Review requests: NiceJob, or the review tools inside Housecall Pro. Local posts: SocialPilot to schedule posts you wrote, NiceJob to share good reviews, and Wanna to decide and draft them. Finding new customers through marketing: Wanna works from your website and needs no job software. For queueing posts across networks, see AI social media schedulers. How we suggest you weigh any vendor: how to choose.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts. Posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). On the live page at 02:58 UTC on 27 Oct 2026: 4 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR 0 dollars, 16 tasks done in 7 days, 0 things that went outside. That is a small base, and we have no pest control results to show. Wanna does not answer calls, route a technician, keep a customer's service history or send a reminder for the next quarterly visit.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own trial: we read pages, not products. An AI call agent does not replace the licensed applicator on the job, your state license and insurance, or a person who calls back a customer with a wasp nest at the door. Treatment records and product label directions stay with your service software and your technicians; no tool here changes that. A drafted offer, reply or post still needs your review before a customer sees it, including any claim about safety or results. Texting and call-recording consent rules in your state apply to every tool here; we did not review any tool against them, so ask each vendor for its terms. Your job and billing system stays the record.

FAQ

What are the best AI tools for a small pest control company? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the eight by task, and the table gives each price as the vendor shows it. Briostack, FieldRoutes and Housecall Pro each have a page for pest control; we ran none of them, so try one on a week of real calls.

How much does software for a pest control company cost? Two of the eight, Briostack and FieldRoutes, show no price. Among the other non-Wanna tools the first paid plan billed monthly runs from 20 a month (SocialPilot) to 79 (Goodcall and Housecall Pro). Add-ons, extra users and annual terms change the total, and the table has each figure.

Can AI answer inspection requests for my pest control company? Goodcall, Briostack's ZyraTalk, Housecall Pro's CSR AI and Jobber's Receptionist list an AI that answers calls or messages. We did not run any of them. Test one on your own call types, including an emergency call about wasps or rodents, before you rely on it.

Can AI send seasonal offers to my pest control customers? Briostack Playbooks lists seasonal promotions, NiceJob Pro lists Repeats, and Housecall Pro and Jobber list marketing sends and campaigns. These reach people already on your list. We found no page that shows a result for a company like yours.

Can AI get me more reviews after a pest control visit? NiceJob sends review requests by text and email, and Housecall Pro lists review management in its plans. Wanna does not send review requests. We did not test any of them.

Which AI tool can help a one-truck pest control company with marketing? Wanna drafts posts, ads and letters from your website and waits for your OK before anything goes out. NiceJob and SocialPilot cover reviews and scheduling. We have no pest control results for any of them.

Is Wanna a tool for pest control companies? Not specifically. It helps an owner choose and draft the next marketing task. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.

How often is this list updated? Every 30 days, from the vendors' own pages.
