8 AI tools for gyms and fitness studios

Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 18 Oct 2026, refreshed every 30 days. Wanna is our product and is in this list; it is not studio software. Prices change; open each link before you decide.

Short answer. A gym or studio has four AI jobs: class bookings and the front desk, keeping members, answering reviews, and posting. Five of the eight are studio systems (Gymdesk, Mindbody, PushPress, TeamUp, Walla) and four of those print a price: Gymdesk from 75 US dollars monthly, PushPress from 0, TeamUp 189 for 101-200 active customers, Walla from 299. Of those five, only Mindbody, PushPress and Walla describe an AI feature on the pages we read. The eight are alphabetical, not scored; we ran none of them except Wanna.

How we chose

  • The vendor's own page describes work a gym or studio does, or a general tool its manager could use.
  • We read each page on 18 Oct 2026. A price or AI feature we could not read is marked as not printed.
  • Amounts are in US dollars unless stated. Left out: Glofox, whose pricing page prints no plans (it asks for a quote), and Wodify, whose pricing page did not load for us.

By job

  • Class bookings, waitlists and memberships: Gymdesk, Mindbody, PushPress, TeamUp or Walla. Compare them on active members and on card fees, not on the headline price.
  • Missed calls and client questions: Mindbody AI Concierge or PushPress AI support; we tested neither.
  • Keeping members: the studio systems hold the attendance data. Walla names retention intelligence; Mindbody lists retention analytics on Ultimate.
  • Answering Google reviews: RepliFast.
  • Scheduling posts: Buffer.
  • Deciding what to post or offer on a quiet weekday, and drafting it: Wanna. For a fitness company its onboarding offers four goals: fill quiet classes, more new members, more 5-star reviews, members back. A similar list for local service businesses. How to weigh any vendor: how to choose.

What Wanna is and is not

Wanna drafts; posts, applications and ads wait for your OK, and sending letters is off until you turn it on (Trust). It cannot see who has stopped coming, because it has no link to your booking system; you tell it the offer. Its Google step in onboarding asks happy clients for a review with a ready message. On the live page, measured 18 Oct 2026 at 05:26 UTC: 3 companies of people, 0 paying, MRR $0, 21 tasks done in 7 days. That is a small base, and we have no gym or studio result to show.

What this list does not replace

It does not replace your own demo: we read pages, not products. A drafted offer or reply does not replace your own read before it goes out, and a tool that texts members needs their consent under the rules that apply to you. We reviewed no tool against those rules, nor against payment-card rules, so ask each vendor for its terms. Your booking system stays the record of who is a member, and a coach is still the reason many stay.

FAQ

What are the best AI tools for a gym or fitness studio? We do not rank them. The By job section sorts the eight by task.

Is there an AI tool that books classes for my gym? The five studio systems handle bookings. Mindbody (AI Concierge), PushPress (AI Assistant) and Walla (WallaPredict) describe an AI feature; we ran none of them.

How much do gym management tools cost? Entry prices we read run from 0 (PushPress Free, with a higher card fee) to 299 monthly for Walla Core. The highest plan price we read is Walla Pro at 599. Mindbody prints no plan price.

Can AI help win back members who stopped coming? Studio systems that hold attendance data are the place to start; Walla names retention intelligence and Mindbody lists retention analytics on its top plan. Wanna can draft an offer for old clients, but it does not see your member list.

Can AI reply to my gym's Google reviews? RepliFast drafts Google replies and can post 4- and 5-star ones automatically on its Pro plan. Wanna does not answer reviews.

Is Wanna software for gyms? No. It plans and drafts your marketing. It is our product, so its minuses are in the table.
