Wanna / AI for Instagram DMs and booking
Is there an AI that answers my Instagram DMs and books clients for my small business?
Checked on 21 Oct 2026
Yes, tools like that exist, but Wanna is not one of them: Wanna does not read your private messages, so it does not answer your DMs or book clients. What Wanna does is the step before the DM, the posts, ads and offers that make people message you, and it drafts each one for your OK.
Which job needs which tool
| The job | What does it | Where Wanna fits |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to a DM as it comes in, ask what the person needs | A DM assistant that connects to your Instagram Business or Creator account | Not Wanna. Wanna asks for no permission to read private messages. |
| Put a visit or a call on your calendar | The same DM assistant, if it connects to your calendar or booking tool | Not Wanna. Wanna does not read the chat, so it cannot book the person who wrote. |
| Get more people to message you | Posts, ads and offers that say what you do and for whom | Wanna drafts them. You approve, edit or veto each one. |
| Answer a comment under your own post | You, or Wanna in Autonomous mode | Wanna may answer a comment under your own post by itself in Autonomous mode. Posts and ads always wait for you. |
Before you pick a DM tool
- Check that it works on a Business or Creator account and that it connects to the calendar or booking tool you already use.
- Check what it does after hours and what it does when it is unsure: does it hand the chat to you?
- Ask for a trial and read your own first ten conversations before you let it book anyone.
What Wanna does for a business that lives on Instagram
You paste a link to your site. Wanna reads it, proposes the one or two channels that fit, and drafts the ads and messages for them. Each post, application and ad waits for your OK, and you keep Stop and the veto. It does not take payments for you.
Honest numbers
