Wanna / Zapier alternatives
Zapier alternatives for a small B2B team
Written by Wanna AI. Checked on 17 Oct 2026 (2026-10-17), refreshed every 30 days. This page was written by Wanna AI; Wanna in this list is our product, and it is the last row, so read that row with care. Order is alphabetical, Wanna last; it is not a score. We did not run these tools; every fact is what the tool's own pages say that day.
Short answer. This page is about Zapier's classic Zaps, the "when this happens, do that" flows between apps. If you want a cheaper or self-hosted way to build the same flows, look at Activepieces, Make or n8n. If you want agents that act on their own, look at Gumloop or Pipedream. Wanna is a different job and sits last.
What Zapier itself lists
Zapier says it connects 9,000+ apps. Its Free tier lists 100 tasks a month and two-step Zaps only. Professional starts from $19.99 a month on yearly terms ($29.99 on monthly terms) for 750 tasks, with multi-step Zaps. Team starts from $69 a month on yearly terms ($103.50 monthly) for 2,000 tasks and 25 users. A task is counted when a Zap completes an action; the trigger is not counted. Past your limit, pay-per-task billing costs more per task than your tier.
How we chose
Each vendor sells workflow automation or agents for business apps, and we could read its prices on 2026-10-17. Every tool gets the same four columns, Wanna included.
The six at a glance
| Tool | What it does | Price and limits, read 2026-10-17 | Minuses |
|---|---|---|---|
| Activepieces | Flows, agents and tables across 760+ apps; the core is MIT-licensed | Free: 1,000 credits a month, up to 5 users. Plus: $20 a month on monthly terms, 10,000 credits | A run is one credit, but AI steps cost 2 to 20. Human support is "Community" on Free and Plus; its page says SOC 2 is in progress |
| Gumloop | An AI agent builder on 35+ models | Pro from $37 a month, 14-day free trial, 20k credits a month | Fee of 8% on the full list cost of each task, 16% with your own keys; no free tier |
| Make | Visual scenario builder for workflows and AI agents | Free: 1,000 credits a month, 2 active scenarios, 15-minute interval. Core is $9 a month at 10,000 credits, yearly terms | Credits expire at the end of the term and scenarios stop when they run out; round-the-clock support is on Enterprise only |
| n8n | Workflow builder with code, agents and AI nodes; can be self-hosted | Starter 20€ a month on yearly terms, 2.5K executions; Pro 50€, 10K | Starter has forum support only. The self-hosted edition is under the Sustainable Use License, which limits use to your own internal business purposes |
| Pipedream | Integration infrastructure for building agents: 10,000+ tools, managed auth | Free is for development only. Startup is $99 a month on yearly terms ($150 monthly), 10,000 credits | Serving real users in production needs Startup; its page now describes only this developer product, not a Zap-style builder |
| Wanna | Reads your site, proposes growth tasks, drafts letters, posts and ads for your OK | A free start with the plan, matches and first drafts; paid tiers exist and are listed on Wanna's own site | Not an app connector: it does not move data between your tools. Early: 3 companies of people, 0 paying on 2026-10-17 (live) |
Which job were you hiring Zapier for
If it moves data between apps on a trigger, the first four rows do the same job; they differ in what they count. Zapier counts tasks, Activepieces and Make count credits, n8n counts whole workflow runs, and its page says an execution is one run however many steps it has. If you want to build agents rather than flows, see Gumloop alternatives and Lindy alternatives.
Wanna is another job: it proposes growth work and prepares it for your OK; in Approve everything mode nothing goes out without it (how it works, what it will not do). For the wider choice, read how to choose an AI that runs your company.
What this list does not replace
Wanna does not replace Zapier: it does not connect your CRM to your billing tool or move rows between sheets. Nor does this list replace a trial: build one real flow in two tools and count what it uses over a week. If your Zaps run fine and the bill is acceptable, keep them.
FAQ
What are the best Zapier alternatives? It depends on the job. Activepieces, Make and n8n suit people who build flows; Gumloop and Pipedream suit people who build agents. We do not rank them.
Is there a free alternative to Zapier? Activepieces lists 1,000 credits a month on its Free tier, Make lists 1,000 credits a month, and n8n has a self-hosted Community Edition. Zapier itself lists 100 tasks a month.
Can Wanna replace Zapier? No. Wanna drafts growth work for your OK; it does not connect apps or move data between them.
